Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
My phone will turn on normally and work without problems for about 30 seconds to a minute, after which the screen will go black and the keypad won't work. The phone itself still stays on- it will ring when there's an incoming call or message but I can't answer due to the fact that the key pad doesn't work. In addition, the time and wallpaper still appear on the front LCD display even though the rest of the phone is useless. What do I do?
The keyboard cable is worn or broken, take it to a service center for replacement. The keyboard cable has a small magnetic switch that detects when the phone cover is open or closed. If the keyboard isn't working and the internal screen is blank, the phone detects that the cover was closed.
