Hello,

It could be either the bearings have collapsed and seized or that an object such as a sock, stone, screw or the like has got down into the drum and jammed it solid.one way to see if it is a small object like a stone or screw which may work is to undo the screw on the pulley, this is normally a torx screw, you will have to undo in an anti-clockwise direction, then gently prise off the pulley but be careful its soft alloy and could break, once off try jiggling the drum it has some end play and this may be enough to release the jammed article. If this does not do it then the drum will have to come apart if it is a split type drum unit. Also try looking around the front by the door seal sometimes if a sock gets stuck it can get jammed around this point and you may see a piece if so then try pulling out with a vice grips, normally takes a hell of a lot of sheer force to pull it out.

Hope this helps.

Sounds Like the friction on the belt.If the drum got stuck the motor & belt keep turning plus the drum may of been pulled to an off set angle distorting the alinement's of the belt to the wheel that turns the drum.

Drum does not agitate water goes in and it just humms, no agitation or spin

The drive belt is broken or the motor's rotor is stuck. Open the door and rotate the drum manually. The drive belt is worn or broken if you can freely rotate the drum. The rotor is most probably stuck if you cannot turn the drum.

Visual check can be done by removing the back panel. Remove the screws holding it to the cabinet and pull it off. Replace the belt if it is worn or broken. Simply wrap it around the drive motor pulley and on one side of the drum pulley. Rotate the drum pulley in such a way that the belt completely wraps around it.

Try to free the rotor if it's stuck by lubricating it and forcibly turning it back and forth until it turns freely. To remove the motor, disconnect the motor wiring harness and ground wire from the terminals and remove the mounting bolt. Pull the motor out of the mounting slots. To reinstall or replace, simply slide it back into the mounting slots and secure it with the mounting bolt.

In some cases, the drum will not spin due to a broken drum pulley. Post it back if that is the case.

1992 626 Rear Drum stuck

Does it have a dust cap in the center? If so, pry it off and remove the nut. It also might have a reverse thread (check). If it doesn't have the cap, then you might have to cut the drum in half. But I am almost positive that it does have the metal dust cap in the center of the hub/drum. I sincerely hope that this helped you. Let me know how things went. I'll still be here if you need me.

Machine won' spin

It sounds as though the main drum bearings have failed.
If you turn the drum by hand and it feels rough or you can feel it grating or rumbling, then the main bearings have gone.
Quite a major and expensive job to put right, you may find it more econonomical to purchase a new one.
Plz rate my comments.
thanks and a merry xmas.

Drum stuck fast

hiya
sounds like the drum bearings may have seized, or they are worn and the belt has come off and wrapped around the drum pulley. a few things you can check are:-

does the inner drum have any up and down movement to it?

does the belt appear to be on ok? (you will need to remove the lid to see)

have you noticed any black marks on the clothes recently?

hope this helps

please dont forget to rate the helpfuness of this reply, thanks kj

Konica minolta opc drum magicolor 2350 printing problems I have replaced the opc drum on magicolor 2350 and also the black (k) ink cartridge and now can only really print in yellow, sometimes the other...

When you print stop the printer half way through then check the image on the opc drum and transfer belt to see if it's complete or not, also you may want to check the aidc sensor (sometimes the cable comes loose). I can e mail you the 2300 series service manual (4.17mb) if you reply with your e mail address

Belt keeps coming off the pulley

I suggest you check your drum bearings, belt will only come off if misaligned.
