SOURCE: Problem with ice maker
With your limited input , all I can do is suggest some things for you to try..
First off, are you sure you have water coming to the back of the fridge? No water, no ice. Secondly, Can you gain access to the ice tray inside the ice maker to see if it is frozen with excess water ? If it is, you may need to thaw it out to free it up to allow it to cycle. If no ice buildup is found....
Can you tell if the icemaker is actually cycling? If you listen, you can here the inlet valve open to let water in and then you should hear the motor that rotates the mold tray operate ( may take between 10 - 20 minutes so be patient) If you don't hear any motor activity duing this time.... You may have a defectice ice maker assembly and may need to replace it. Hope that helps...

HI, First thing you do is remove the floor panel of the freezer. Do you see ice?
If there is ice, remove the rear wall of the freezer as well and start removing the ice. There will be down inside the drain hole also. A hair dryer works great for this project.
Please do not use sharp object/tools.
Now that you have the ice out of the drain, There is an after market drain transfer heat strip kit you need to buy and add.
Please let me know if I can help you. I have the kit on my web site www.whirlpoolpartssurplus.com

It sounds like the doors need adjusted so that when they close , the hit the light switch . Try loosening the top hinge screws , and even up the doors by the side view of the refrig . Re tighten the screws , and check to see if the lights go off . May have to try several times , to get it properly adjusted .
