Hi,
To remove that grill you need to grab it at the sides and pull out away from the fridge hard..the clips really hang on there...

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...there are also many other things that can go wrong. If you are hearing a clicking or buzzing then check out the last two tips.

If your refrigerator is running but warm, then…

Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...

How do I remove the front cover off a Frigidaire Through-the-Wall Room Air Conditioner with Supplemental Heat unit? (FRA10EHT2, FRA12EHT2, FRA14EHT2)

Here's how to do it:
1. Remove the filter right behind the front grill. The top of the filter sticks out just a bit right under the movable louvers. Pull it towards you just a bit and upward to remove. See the care instructions that came with the AC unit if you still need help with this.
2. Behind where the top of the filter was, there are two screws, one at each end that hold the grill to the chassis. Remove these.
3. Face the side of the unit. Just where the leading edge of the plastic grill meets the sheet metal casing and up about a third of the way up from the bottom, there is a hidden tab on the plastic that engages a slotted hole in the metal. With your thumb, press in on the sheet metal about 1/8" while pulling gently up on the plastic grill. The tab in the grill holding it to the sheet metal case should release. Do this for the other side of the AC unit as well, and now the bottom of the grill should lift up.
4. Pivot up the grill. There are 4 tabs in the top edge of the grill that grab onto detents in the sheet metal housing. The grill will pivot up around those as a hinge. Lift the grill up about 45?.
5. There is a wire harness between the front electronic controls and the main board located in a metal box. Gently pull the wires and cable out of the box until the connector is exposed. Disconnect the connector.
6. You can now remove the grill from the sheet metal case. However, disengaging it from the sheet metal case may be difficult as when the grill pivots, the plastic tab hooks under the metal. You might try sliding a wooden popsicle stick between the plastic and the metal to raise the plastic enough for the tabs to clear the metal of the slots. Don't use a typical metal screw driver or you will damage the painted finish of the AC unit. You might find the following easier to do.
7. If you need to remove the sheet metal case as well, go ahead and remove all the screws that hold it to the chassis. There are a number on the top, sides and back. Unscrew and remove all of those. Then remove the grill and the metal case together. You should be able to separate the plastic grill from the casing more easily.
8. If like me, you need to straighten out the bent sheet metal of the chassis and the metal case (bent in shipping to me), I found using channel-type pliers with the teeth covered with a piece of towel to prevent scratches to the finish worked well.
9. Reassemble the unit in the reverse manner. Those tabs at the top of the plastic grill, since they are chamfered, can easily be pushed onto the metal case (i.e. they go on much easier than they came off). Just line up the grill square with the casing and push straight back.
10. If you find you have a couple of extra screws, check the back side near the top for two screws holes that are easy to overlook.

Note: after installing the AC unit into the through-the-wall sleeve and turning the unit on, it took about 3 minutes for the compressor to kick on and the unit to start cooling. I think this is part of the built-in compressor or circuit protection in case the unit is tipped or moved.

Hope this is helpful to you.

How to remove the filter in a GE air conditioner?

1 Look for a tab on the top, right side or near the bottom of the front grille. The tab protrudes slightly from the grille.

2 Pull the tab with your fingers and remove the filter from the Hotpoint air conditioner. The tab is part of the air filter.

3 Insert a new air filter in the air conditioner until you hear the plastic part of the filter click into place.

4 Lift the bottom of the front grille up and out if the filter is not visible. Unclip the top of the front grille and pull it away from the air conditioner. Look for the tab to the air filter in the small cavity near the top front of the Hotpoint air conditioner.

5 Pull the tab and remove the filter. Insert a new filter and snap the front grille back in place.

Kp57ws500 i need to remove the front screen for transport. the back panel is off. how do i remove the front screen panel?

You need to take the front grill off. There are two screws on the front at the very bottom. They are covered by a little plastic insert for cosmetics. Remove the screws and gently pull the bottom grill down. You will see wire connectors you can disconnect to completely remove the grill. After that, there is about 5 screws under the screen bezel that are holding it in place.

How to change a headlight lamp 2009 dodge ram

Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the four plastic push-in fasteners that secure the upper radiator seal to the grille support and both fender ledges.
Remove the two plastic push-pin rivets that secure the upper radiator seal to the radiator.
Remove the upper radiator seal from the vehicle.

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the grille from the front of the vehicle to service the front lamp units. The illustration shows the grille removed only to assist in clearly identifying the locations of the front lamp unit mounting provisions.
Remove the screw that secures the upper mounting tab of the front lamp unit to the Front End Module (FEM) carrier (also known as the radiator closure).
Using a socket with a magnetic insert or with a small piece of butyl tape inserted, reach down between the grille and the FEM carrier to access, remove and retrieve the screw that secures the lower mounting tab of the front lamp unit.
Remove the fastener that secures the tab at the bottom of the access panel to the front of the front wheel house splash shield.

NOTE: The illustration shows the back of right front lamp unit and slide lock with the slide lock in the locked position.
Reach through the access opening of the wheel house splash shield and lift the slide lock upward far enough to disengage it from the lock post integral to the back of the front lamp unit housing.

From the front of the vehicle, grasp the outboard edge of the front lamp unit firmly and pull it straight forward to disengage the ball stud from the plastic grommet in the FEM carrier.
Pull the lamp away from the front of the vehicle far enough to access and disconnect the two wire harness connections from the park/turn signal bulb socket and either the headlamp bulb on vehicles with dual headlamps, or from the headlamp pigtail wire harness on vehicles with quad headlamps.
Remove the front lamp unit from the vehicle.

Firmly grasp the headlamp bulb in the reflector through the opening on the back of the front lamp unit housing and rotate it counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
Pull the bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the reflector.
Reverse order to install

Sounds stupid, where is the water filter

it is in the grill at the bottom of the front of your unit. you can see it when you open the freezer door.
start by removing the lower plastic grill by grabbing the grill and twisting outwards on it.
then the filter can be removed by turning the filter, top to the right.
when you put the new filter in in place, it should sound like water is running into the unit.
then replace the grill.

The grill should pull off from the corners.
If the bottom of the grill is touching the floor, you may need to raise the front of the fridge before removal.
