Help its hot as hell!

Hi Holly,
If you hear the motor running - and aren't feeling air blowing thru the vents, it could be a problem with the way the fan blade is attached to the motor shaft. It may have come off the motor shaft completely, or has become loose on the motor shaft (the shaft is spinning but the blade is spinning only slowly or is stationary).
It may also be a problem wit the blend doors. Blend doors are in many vehicles that mix cold and hot air to blow the desired temperature air and they're used to direct air between or mix with vents for defroster, dash vents, and foot vent areas. Sometimes, disconnecting the battery for a minute or two will cause them to recalibrate and begin working properly again when the battery is reconnected. It is important to note that this may not be the way YOUR vehicle handles this problem - and may render your factory radio inoperable if it is equipped with an internal anti-theft circuit, so look into that before you disconnect.
Good luck!

Left Vents blow warm/hot air when calling for cold air

Usually a sign of a faulty blend door under the dash.
The blend doors direct air thru the ac and heater core along with the upper and lower vents.

My air condotioner is blowing out warmair. It blows out cold air forabout 5 minutes then warm again it's a 5050 series

It sounds like the unit is cycling on internal overload. The overload is switch the protects the motor from getting too warm. This would explain your cooling "cycling".

Check the condenser (the outside coil with vertical fins, the back of the unit). Is it clear of any debris? If not clean it using water or compressed air, using care not to bend or damage the fins or electrical wires/components.

Check the condenser fan motor. You can usually see the condenser fan motor through vents in the sheet metal. Check to see the the condenser fan motor runs when cooling is turned on, secondly check to make sure the fan blade is not broken, usually the blades are plastic. If the motor or fan blade is bad, you need a replacement.

My air conditioner tries to turn on, air comes out of vents but isn't cold, and outside the blades on the AC unit are not spinning. I hear a noise when it tries to turn on but they don't start...

Outdoor condensing fan motor has stopped running. This problem could be caused by a bad motor run capacitor. If your motor capacitor is not the problem, then more than likely you need a new motor. Is the fan blade tight, stiff or hard to turn? If the fan blade is hard to turn then you probably need a new motor

Air conditioner and heat blower

You will have two fans, one fan blows out the rear of the unit that cools the condenser soil, one blows out the front across the evaporator that blows the cold air out into the room. Some window a/c's have whats called a squirrel cage fan assy. that has one motor that runs both fans. So you either have one bad fan motor (the evap fan motor) or you have a bad fan blade that has fallen off the shaft. Also check the filter see if it is clean.
