Yes, if the difference is between 0-30 degrees off you usually can

go to amana.com click customer service

click the section under find products and literature

enter your model without the final letter

(example if your model is AER5576AWW leave off the last W, thbe final letter is the color, if you leave it on, this tends to bring no results)

open the use and care guide

find the sections called adjusting the temperature or it can be called oven calibration

follow the instructions, most ranges you hold bake for three seconds to begin it, but you will want to consult the guide

Gas owen overcooks

I get this service call a lot so lets verify temp before we discuss possible causes set the rack in the middle of the oven hang an oven thermometer in the center of rack set a 350 let run 1 hour check the temp after an hour this gives the oven enough time to cycle and stabilize this will give you the true average of oven, temp placement of thermometer is important plus or minus 15F on either side of 350 is not that much of a big deal the max range for a temperature offset is usually 30F, there should be a tech sheet in a plastic pouch on the back of the unit now if you do find it to be running 50F too hot well there are test to determine if the temperature sensor is operating correctly it should read appx. 1654 ohms at 350 this tells the control board to open the heat relay stopping power to the gas valve lot of work you have to have the oven out back panel off to access the wiring going to control unplug machine at 350 disconnect wiring from board to ohm out sensor, sensors go bad and so do boards, sensor is cheaper try changing it first.

The oven does not heat to the set temperature. It is usually much hotter

You can have the oven recalibrated by a professional OR you can purchase an oven thermometer and check the temperature yourself. Place the oven thermometer in the oven.Set the oven to a specific temperature. When it indicates it is at that temperature check the thermometer. Adjust your setting by that many degrees. For instance, if you set the temp at 350 and the oven thermometer shows 450, then reduce your temperature setting by 100 degrees each time you use the oven.

My oven is at least 15 degrees cooler than it should be. Since I have a digital stove, does that mean it cannot be repaired?

Try this

Turn oven temperature knob to OFF.

2. Press and hold both arrow pads for approximately 5 seconds.

3. A double digit will display ranging from -35 °F to 35 °F.

4. Immediately, press either:

• to increase oven temperature by 5 °F

• to decrease oven temperature by 5 °F

• When temperature is adjusted to a cooler setting, a minus sign (-) will

display with the offset temperature.

5. When desired temperature change is displayed, release control and

change will be automatically saved after a few seconds. Control will

return to time of day display.
• Offset temperature change will be retained through a power failure.
The complete manual can be downloaded at www.appliancehelponline.com just enter your model # and the manual will be on the left hand side.

This is from page 13 of your manual:

the OFF position.
Press and hold the HOUR +/– pads for
5 seconds until the display changes.
Before display changes back, press
the HOUR +/– pads to increase or
decrease the temperature in 5

The oven temperature can be adjusted as
much as 35°F. or down as much as 35°F.
If the oven adjustment is set cooler
than the factory setting a minus sign (–)

Frigidaire range model #fgfl67dcf needs to be calabrated, too hot for setting

OVEN CALIBRATION Set the electronic oven control for normal baking at 350°F. Obtain an average oven temperature after a minimum of 5 cycles. Press CANCEL or CLEAR to end bake mode. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT 1. Set EOC to bake at 550°F. 2. Within 5 seconds of setting 550°F, press and hold the bake pad for approximately 15 seconds until a single beep is heard (longer may cause F11 shorted keypad alarm). 3. Calibration offset should appear in the display. 4. Use the slew keys to adjust the oven temperature up or down 35°F in 5°F increments. 5. Once the desired (-35° to 35°) offset has been applied, press CANCEL or CLEAR. Note: Changing calibration affects both Speed Bake and normal bake modes. The adjustments made will not change the self-cleaning temperature.

Maytag oven overbakes or burns bottom of cookies, biscuits

Try this first, if the temperature is off contact me.
Put an oven thermometer at the center of the oven and set the oven to 350 degrees F.

Check the temperature indicated on the thermometer after 20 minutes. If it's not within 5 degrees of 350, you'll need to adjust the oven's temperature control.

How do I calibrate the oven temp?

Oven Temperature Adjustment Option for the MSG5770
If you think the oven should be hotter or cooler, you can adjust
it yourself. To decide how much to change the oven temperature,
set the temperature 25°F higher or lower than the temperature
in your recipe, then bake. The results of the “test” should
give you an idea of how much to adjust the temperature.
To adjust the oven temperature:
1. Press the BAKE pad.
2. Enter 550° by pressing the number pads “5, 5, 0”.
3. Press and hold the BAKE pad for several seconds until 0°
appears in the display.
4. Press any number pad to change the temperature. Each time
a pad is pressed, the temperature changes by 5°F.
• Press repeatedly to reach +35°F. Continue pressing
to reduce the temperature up to -35°F.
• If the oven temperature was previously adjusted, the
change will be displayed. For example, if the oven
temperature was reduced by 15°, the display will
show -15°.
5. When you have made the adjustment, press the
CANCEL pad and the time of day will reappear in the
display. The oven will now bake at the adjusted
temperature.
NOTE: Do not change the temperature setting more than
10° at a time before testing the oven.
It is not necessary to readjust the oven temperature if there
is a power interruption. This adjustment will not affect
broil or clean temperatures.

Oven Temperture adjustment

On my Epicure, you are supposed to press the bake selector pad then press the + button to set the temperature to 500 degrees or higher.  Then hold the bake button for 5 seconds.  The temp display is replaced by 00.  Release the bake pad and use the - or+ buttons to adjust the temperature in 5 degree increments.  When finished push cancel (or just do nothing).  Good luck.  I tried this and my oven kind of went haywire.  It decreased the temp by much more than the 10 degrees I had set it too.  May be something else wrong with my oven though?
