Question about Garden

1 Answer

We have a Toro SR4 Super Recycler and when we mow the motor runs fine but the blades slow to a stop while going through grass that is 4 - 5 inches high. I have to walk a painfully slow pace just to keep the blades turning. We had it in the repair shop and were told it just needed a tuneup but that did not work. Any suggestions?

Self propelled I have a toro super recycler model 20092 when I cut the grass it seems like the mower wants to pull to one side all the time. The right side. thoughts? year 2009

I assume this is a powered mower, that is to say it turns the wheels to assist in mowing. Only one wheel is powered, so it can pull to the side.

My toro super recycler bogs down while mowing. I have fresh gas, just changed the oil and filter. Any suggestions?

check and be sure the blades are sharp. if the blade gets a rounded edge it wont cut properly and will bog down trying to cut.

I have a Toro 22 in Recycler Lawn Mower Model No. 20331 I can't pull the starter cable, it seems locked. My boys were mowing the lawn earlier, some very high grass, and the mower stopped

Hi. It's not locked. The piston has siezed up maybe for lack of oil or sitting too long. It is time to retire it. If your son or daughter or grand kids has some mechanical in them. They can tare it apart and fix it. Good luck.

My Toro mower is 7 yrs old. 3 speeds, blade

I've noticed that when the blade get dull it work harder a cutting tall grass. I just put a new blade on mine and now it runs and sounds like a brand new mower. also if the inside of the deck is coated with old grass that makes a differance too
