Osicom ROUTERmate T1 Drop and Insert CSU/DSU (RM-T1/D1/R)
We have 25 Osicom ROUTERmate-T1/D1/R.
The person that was responsiblr for them has passed away,
without having shared all the passwords assigned.
I desperately need to get into at least 2 of these units,
(T1 is down) but can't pass the password.
Is there anyway to restore defaults, or bypass the password,
so we can reconfigure to passwords we can keep track of ?

The short answer is.... It is a T-1 Router/Firewall that works with ISDN and Frame Relay. It uses the V.35 and BRI interfaces and requires an external CSU/DSU. It is NOT compatable with Cable or DSL internet service providers.
A T1 line is a dedicated connection to an Internet backbone router. Typically a T1 line is for major businesses and school campuses. A T1 line is capable of handling 637 simultaneous VOIP connections with full-duplex connection.
How many computers do you intend to have connected to this network? Even a fractal T1 is very expensive. A full T1 connection can cost nearly 25K per month usage. A T1 line will need to be installed by your ISP provider and this too will cost a significant amount of money and it depends on how close your network connection will be in relation to the main network trunk-line.
If you trying to connect a T1 line to a Belkin 54g wireless router, you are way out of your league. I have worked for several networking firms in the Atlanta, GA area and we never had more than a fractal T1. Most small to midsized networks (up to 100) users can be accommodated with using a DSL or Cable Internet connection with a dedicated firewall and router/switch to handle the network traffic. Unless you are willing to pay for a T1 fiber optic line to be run from the main trunk line to your place of business or home, you will be fine with a high speed cable internet connection from an ISP provider like Comcast of Qwest here in the US. Fiber still has an installation cost of about $10,000USD per 1000 feet.
It's not likely that VZ gave you dynamic IP's, but it's possible. You should have been given more than one. If not, it's better to get more and a set of configuration instructions. In the last one I set up, we put a 5-port switch on the ethernet port coming off the Adtran, then fed 2 routers and a security system from the switch. Our gateway was one number lower than the bank of IP's we had, and we just gave each piece of equipment a static ip address and gateway to the gateway :-)
Going wireless should not be influenced by the nature of your internet connection. Here, I will assume that your definition of "standard router" is the kind of router we can buy at any electronic store (DLink, Linksys). I you are think more about a high end router such as a Cisco 2600 or 2800, please post a comment and I will adjust my answer.
If you already have internet access through your T1 using a wired network, you may just add one (or more) Wireless Access Points to your existing network. No need for a router here since you already have one for connecting the wired network.
On the other side, if your T1 line will be dedicated to your Wireless access, then a router should do the job. Usualy a T1 line uses a static IP address on the WAN side. If your Wireless coverage required more than one Access Points, then I would suggest you to use a standard router (no Wifi) with seperate access points.
Are you trying to set up router ? You can set up your router manually, without the CD. Make sure that your computer is able to go online directly through the modem. If your computer is able to go online through the modem, that means the modem is working fine. You will need to connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router. open the set up page of the router and change the settings of the router according to the ISP.
