I'm guessing you have a laser printer. There are three thing s you might try/check.

First check the printer settings to make sure you have the correct paper type (if you try to print on legal size paper but the settings say regular, it could cause this).

It could also be your toner cartridge, in which case the best thing to try is to take it out and shake it from side to side to even out the toner and break up any lumps that may have built up.

The third is your drum. Take out the drum unit and look at the drum roller (bright, shiny green or pink tube) but make sure not to touch it or expose it to too much light! If the drum needs to be replaced, you should be able to see streaks or color changes on the side of the drum that corresponds to the paper issue.

Hope you get it figured out! Good luck.

Hi,
The default paper selection/ size in MS Word is 'letter'. you may have designed the document on letter size and while printing you have A4 size paper in the printer.
So, Make sure that you design the document on the same paper size (such as A4, which is commonly used). Secondly, while printing don't print the document directly. From the Print dialogue option choose the exact paper size and un-check (de-select) any option of paper resizing (if available). You will have the documents printed exactly as designed.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.

Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya!

Sounds like you need to go into Properties in the Brother, possibly in advance options for a setting that over-rides the printer settings for the page settings.

What happens if you choose a 1.5" right margin in the document.

HP Deskjet 5150 print is too small

Printers try to fit web pages on a single sheet of paper. If you configure the printer, in the print dialog, not to shrink images and text to fit the paper, it will print on multiple sheets of paper, but the correct size for the images and text.

In a Word document, it depends on what font size you have selected. Most people would rather have the web page print on a single sheet, with smaller images and text than were on the monitor; than tape together multiple sheets for 100% size printout.

E-mails won't print the last few words on the right side.

Your margins need to be adjusted. Do a print preview. You should see the margins. Click on the right hand margin and drag it over to the right until the rest of your document shows up on the screen. If you print it then it should be fine.

Envelope margin error

have you adjusted the page setup on your software?
I'm assuming you're using Word to print a mail merge. yes?

Check that the margins are setup properly in the "word document"
Go undetr file, page setup, and confirm the envelope size is set properly.
Check the page setup in the printing preferences.
File, Print, Printing Preferences.

The printer accepts whatever margins microsoft word tells it to use.

Best wishes

Unable to print document 1" top, bottom, andleft and right. Font very small. Margin needs to be aligned with computer

and Hi again,

For some unknown reason(s) our Live Session was cut. Any development(s)?

Pls, in MS Word, have you tried clicking on File and then Print Preview? Would you so kind as to check if the way the document is shown is the same way the document was printed?

If yes, was the right margin as you would want it to be? otherwise, have you checked on the settings of the MS Word document specifically the right indent as shown below in red circle?

Would appreciate if you can post back any developments or even the lack of it.

Cheers.
