hi the best option you have is to take it in to your nearest phone shop as most of them do repairs on these as well, as for the price depends where you live i live in UK so price would be in pounds not sure where in the world you are so cant really comment on price,
try looking on the well known auction site and see if their are any on their you may get one on their for next to nothing.
you could also google what battery is in a (give make and model here without brackets) then hit search and see if that lists any sites that offer batteries for your player.

the problem you might have is that these are usually throw away devices and people dont usually get them repaired so parts are hard to come by, you should be able to get a battery for it but you may have to shop around till you find some one that sells them

try your nearest phone shop though first as they usually stock these players and should be able to get some spares for them

Hi laura wil8...

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

The vacuum cleaner works for a few minutes then shuts off. After a few minutes it will start again, but soon shuts off again.

There may be as many as three air filters in the vacuum. Remove and thoroughly clean all of them and try again.

Dirt devil doesn[t hold charge

Try running the battery all the way down by letting the vacume run in a corner or another room and even when it stops leave it on for a hour to drain the battery. Then shut the switch off and try charging the battery. Make sure the charger is putting out enough volts by looking at the rated output of the charger and while it is plugged in check it with a volt meter. If it does not hold a charge and the charger is putting out the right voltage you need to purchase a new battery for the vacume

The green light is on as though the battery is fully charged, however, when I start a cleaning cycle, it beeps and goes to red immediately without moving.

Remove the battery, hold down the POWER button for ten seconds, then put the battery back in and charge overnight. If it still tells you it's out of power as soon as you start it, it's time for a new battery. http://store.irobot.com

Scooba battery light turns red as soon as irobot starts

Do you leave the battery on charge long enough? Try 4-hours up to overnight. If so, then the battery is probably at the end of it's useful life. Getting a new battery depends on cost versus life expectancy of the robot and whether it does the job you want it to do.

Vaccuum Won't Stay On

Two ways to go about this:

Easy Way
1) Go to Bissell.com and order the replacement handle for about $25 bucks. Follow installation instructions and viola! You're up and running again.

More Complicated (you're on your own)
2) I'm no expect by any measure. I just tinkered around and here is what I got.
  • Remove the handle (If you remember when you purchased the vacuum, you had to install the upper handle by connecting it midway and tightening it with a Philips screw).
  • I shouldn't have to say disconnect the power, but yeah, that's probably a good idea too.
  • Remove all screws in the handle. Keep note of which screws came from what area, mine were different sizes.
  • Split the casing open and remove the red plastic cover. You will find a small switch underneath
  • I just fiddled around with the small switch until it worked again; you can also go online and buy a new switch Click here for the switch only
  • Once you have the switch working, or purchased and installed a new one, put the handle back together and install again to the vacuum. You may want to test the switch before completely installing the handle. You can do this by connecting it without tightening the Philips screw in the middle.
Hope that helps a little. I know my wife was disappointed until I got ours up and running again.

Cheers

Same Shut Off Problem as Hamster71

The part that you call the particle size sensetivity adjuster is bad. There are 2 seals in the assembly, the lower seal is slipping out of place because the plastic lip which keeps it in place is broken. Split housings and replace part. This machine is alot of work to take appart and get back together correctly. Might want to bring to local vac shop. good luck.
