the maker is panasonic model # KX-TG30336

  • frhamre May 02, 2008

That is the number on the bottom of the base. The operating manual
lists model KX-TG3033 as the expandable digital cordless with 3 handsets which is what I have.

The clicking noise started right after I received a phone call when I hung up. It has been clicking for 30 hours.

The tapping noise has stopped on its own. Thanks anyway.

The call settings must be set ON while you are calling or someone was calling you, it is set to beep and remind you everytime you reaches 30mins., and the beep at the start reminds that the timer and the call was in progress..

Have you tried removing the battery and reinstalling? is there another electric device beside that phone that may create static noise?

Check for the minute beep settings.. it is possible it was set ON every time it reaches 30mins of call.. a beep on the start of the call means timer starts for the next 30mins.

P

Can you confirm the maker and model # of your device? I cannot find a KT-TG30336 from Panasonic.

Why do all three of the cordless phones (the base phone and two handsets) make a clicking noise?

I am not sure what clicking noise you mean, but if it is constant clicking in the earpiece about once or twice a second it may be interference from a nearby wireless device such as a laptop or microwave, or a wireless router. Try moving the base station away from any such objects.

Set the phone on the charging cradle and press the ON button while phone is in crade. You may need to use the speakerphone button to do this. Turning the phone on while in the charging cradle will resync your handset with its base. Try it! It should work!

Search the Panasonic site. I had the same trouble - free phones from (fill in the blank) no manuals. I went there (Panasonic) ... there are a million manuals there ... well, maybe a thousand. You will find what you need there.

If not, let me know and I will help you.

Constant static and interference

I have found that dimmer switches might be the cause your problem. If you have any around the house you may want to change them to a regular switch.
To test to see if this is the cause, turn all your dimmer switches completely off (not just turned down). See if it clears your static issue.

Sakar corded phone

Yes, they do. Take the base off the wall or desk , turn it over and there should be a place to put usually aa batteries. Is your phone the Sakar KT-1600? If so, can you scan in the manual and send it to me? My e-maill address is asdukes@yahoo.com

GE 5.8 ghz cordless model 25922

as with all devices which return to base for charging, the life of the re-chargeable batteries is shortened if it is constantly trickle-charged, so as with a moble phone, it is good to sometimes let it run down completely and re-charge as the battery charge will last longer, batteries are like muscles, they need excercise.

In Use LED flashing constantly

Your phone may have lost registration to the base. 1) Try disconnecting the power to the base and then re-connecting the power with the cordless phone in the base. Give it a few seconds, then see if it works. 2) Try removing the battery, wait 10 seconds, re-install the battery and set the phone in the charger.
