Question about Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router
What about the mac address filtering? Have you added the PS3's mac address to the allowed clients? It may know the Router's IP address but if it's not part of the allowed listing, it may conk out after being refused entry.

Turn off PS3 system..
1: Reset your modem by unplugging it from the main power source.
2: After a few minutes, plug modem power back into modem. Allow all connections to configure
3: Turn on PS3 system.
4: Go to "Settings" then scroll all the way down to "Network Settings"
5: Make sure that the "internet connection" (the second menu) is "Enabled"
6: Go to "Internet Connection Settings" and choose the appropriate settings. (What's highlighted is going to be the best option, continue to hit the right button on the analog to go through the stages.)
