Jvc everio gzhd7 and movie maker.

So i just bought the camera and wnet to upload video right to movie maker. do i hav to upload it through the program it comes with or is there a way to do it on movie maker? when i do plug it in and hit capture it says that the device is not connected properly or not connected at all

    My camera wont upload straight to movie maker, so i uploading using the program it came with and it's useless because i cant edit my video, i can only watch it. Can i change the format so that it will open in movie maker?

The format this recorder makes movies in will not import into movie maker. You need to use the software that came with it.

What video software goes with the jvc everio gz-mg630
The bundled software is the Everio Media Browser by Pixela. It makes it very easy to find video on your camcorder and import it to your computer. Then, it allows you to do basic editing. Finally, the software makes it simple to upload to You Tube, Export to iTunes, or Burn to DVD. You can purchase a replacement at: http://www.jvcservice.com/Store. I however recommend you just use Windows Movie Maker, which is free.

You need to convert your videos first to .AVI / WMV / MP4 before you can import & edit it.

Hey! I recommend you use this DVD Converter studio, by wich you can convert your jvc enverio videos into movies so that you can watch them on your dvd player. Hope that helps.

JVC Everio Camcorder-cannot make movie file
I use Sony Vegas 8 Movie Studio...a great piece of software...and use the Storm codec pack to view .mod files that the JVC puts out:

Uploalding vidio
You need a USB of Firecable depending on what interface you have on your camcorder. Then you need a capture program such as Pinnacle Studio to bring the video in. Windows Movie Maker isn't compatible with USB or Firewire cameras.

What do I do to get videos out of my everio JVC 3.o camera and into the Cyberlink Powerproducer program?
just usb and connect it to your computer if the camera has a usb interface and make them to what program or software that you like. but i prefer ulead movie maker. hope that helps
