How can I slove earror EO, in my BW PC-940

You can have this Error Code resolved, I am just not sure that it would be wise. These are the facts. You have a 10 year old machine which has an EO error code which means there is a problem with the Fusing Unit. The parts required to fix the error code are anywhere from $150.00 to $250.00 depending on if you go with the whole fusing unit or just the Fixing Film Assembly which is going to contain the defective part(s). There is some dis-assembly of the machine required in order to replace the parts. If you hire someone to do this you are looking at another $100 to $200 in labor depending on who you call. So you could easily spend $250 to $450 to repair the problem. These type of small copiers are sold brand new at Office Depot and other stores now days for $100.00. They will also have a USB port so you can hook it to a PC and use it as a printer. I am in the repair business and have been for 27 years. I would not recommend that any of my customers make a repair to this machine of this magnitude. I have in fact referred 2 of them in the last 5 months to go buy the new Canon D340 instead of repairing the old one.
Good Luck to you and Thank You for using Fixya.

Canon copier 940 trouble code EO?

Odds are that you are getting a error code E000. It is saying that you have a problem with your fuser unit. You can try to unplug the copier for a short time. But you will mostly need a new fuser unit. Good Luck

Canon pc 940 no paper pick up and a signal of P in the display panel

You may have a blockage in the paper feed path, or a worn out paper feed roller, or a faulty paper feed drive clutch / drive mechanism.

Can you see if the paper feed roller rotates in contact with the paper?

Are you using plain paper?

Where is the fuse on the canon pc-940 copier. It

Why would a fuse have any thing to do with a clicking sound? If the fuser or fixing unit was having a problem you would get a error code. Have you replaced the toner or drum cartridge any time? If so, was the noise there before? If it was not recheck the installation and if you put the old parts back in and you have no noise, it has to be the new cartridge.... Good Luck

EO appears at switch on then machine switches off

EO is a error code. You have a problem with the fixing unit. You will most likely have to replace the Upper Fuser Unit....
