Hello Dennis,

You are looking at 2 possible causes for the resets. First is that the GFI adapter has become defective, or water has found its way inside. Either way, it will need to be replaced if it defective. Second, the GFI may be doing its job, and is sensing an AC current fault, and then tripping.

If you are trying to use it on a generator, it likely will have issues due to the nature of the neutral / grounding on the generator itself.

As for the water leak, it is possible that water is getting inside the unit where it shouldn't be, and causing the GFI fault. My pressure washer is very similar to yours, and I have to use 2 hose washers to seal off the hose connection from the garden hose. Haven't had issues with other leaks though (yet).

It is also not unusual for a repair to cost more than it is purchased for. During manufacturing, cost has been refined to be as low as possible. In a service center, the cost just from the few minutes it takes to diagnose what part has failed, and the shipping to get a replacement part usually pushes a repair towards uneconomical.

It could also be that the service center doesn't want the responsibility or liability of the repair on the electrical side.

How to check the GFI other than by replacement.

There isn't really a way to test the dongle itself, without forcing a trip condition, and that would only test for functionality if there is a condition that warrants the GFI to trip.

On my unit, I have removed the GFI dongle at the end or the cord, and put on a water resistant plug instead. This plug matches a water resistant plug that is located on my generator, which has a GFCI protector built into it. Once that was done, I didn't have anymore issues with GFI problems. The issue that I had with the generator (prior to modification), may have been due to a bad GFI that was on the washer to start with.

If you were to replace your plug, and plug it into a GFI protected receptacle, and the receptacle doesn't trip, then that would indicate a failed GFI that was originally installed. If it does trip, then an abnormal condition exists on the washer itself, and the GFI dongle was functioning as it should.

Unplug the unit for at least 30 seconds. Plug in, set clock. When making pizza punch in the time you wish it to run, such as "7:30" then "start". Watch carefully the first time to see how much time it takes to cook to your liking.

Hello,

Try resetting the unit by pressing the "Mode"(reset/lap) and "Power" buttons at the same time.
Also, be sure that the unit has the latest update.

Uploading multiple days of runs to Garmin Training Center

Yes it will hold ALL you runs AND keep them seperate. What you need to do at the end of each run just before you turn it off hit and "hold" the Lap button (reset button). It takes a second but you should see it say reset in 3-2-1. Keep holding untill the process is finished. What this does is end your run and saves it in the watch. When you start your watch the next time it will start a new run when you hit start. By doing this it will keep everything sorted when you down load. In the software you will see one enty with a + sign beside it. The first entry you see is the total of the week. If you hit the + you will see each individual run.

Hope this helps.

My NN-T994SFR Panasonic Microwave shuts off after 1 second.

My unit shuts off after about 2 seconds. It seems like it tries to go, but it sounds like it stops working and then 1 or 2 more seconds run off and it shuts down. Then you hit start again and it lights up inside and then shuts down. It's only about 2 or 3 years old.Any solutions?

GE PVM2070SMSS Microwave, Unit runs for a sec then shuts off.

Obvious thing is to try plugging in a different receptacle to verify if it might be bad wiring in your kitchen. Make sure to use a different circuit, maybe in different room. If it is the circuit, then likely cause is those plugs with push in back wiring. Replace with ones that wire screws to.

Heater shuts off unexpectedly

I would suspect that either the reset (HA3003 Safety Control) or the photocell (HA3019) is bad. For test purposes only bypass them one at a time- see if the unit ron OK.

Use a heat gun to dry off all ignition components. If that doesn't do it, start looking into a partially "Hydro Locked" Engine.
