When plug in my SyncMater 910v monitor, there is only colorful line in it, no image; when I unplug it, there is "Check Signal Cable" on it. What sould I do to fix it?

Hi. Check if the VGA cable (cable that connects the monitor to PC) is properly connected to the PC, make sure that the connection is tight. If the problem persist, replace the VGA cable.

Try to connect the monitor to a different desktop/laptop, to see if the monitor works at all.

However, it may be cheaper to REPLACE the monitor, with a new LCD monitor, than it would be to take the monitor to a TV/video repair shop, to try to REPAIR it.

My monitor says :"No signal" What is the problem?


To help you troubleshoot the monitor 'No Signal' issue, please find the steps given below:
- Turn off your computer.
- Unplug the cable running from your monitor to your PC and plug it back in, making sure the connection is firm. The most common cause of this error is a loose cable.
- Re-attach the cable running from your monitor to your PC. If the monitor is still not displaying a signal after firmly reattaching the cable, the problem could lie with the cable, especially if the cable has visible damage.
- Replace your monitor with another monitor if possible. If the 'No Signal' error still appears, the problem does not rest with the cables or the monitor, but with your PC.

Montior screen is half shaded and half bright


Do this to check if your monitor is in working state or not...!

Step 1:- Turn on your computer.
Step 2:- Unplug the Video Cable of your monitor which is connected with the computer.

( Video cable:- Cable going from the back of your monitor to the back of your tower. It has a plug with two screws on the plug ends, which you can unscrew to unplug it. Thats how it looks like. Some times it is in grey in color some times in blue.)

Step 3:- Now check on your monitor. If the display says " No Input Signal " :- your monitor is fine. Some thing wrong with the computer graphics.
If there is not display and the monitor light is blinking or solid the monitor has gone bad.

( Note :- Remember when you unplug the video cable do not unplug the power cable of the monitor. )

  • Check your Monitor Cable
  • Check your Cables PINS Broken/Damaged
  • Check Properly Plugged in the Cable to both PC and Monitor
  • Check your Display Card
  • Check your Motherboard Connection With Display Card
  • Unplug the Cables end From PC and Monitor
  • Unplug From Power too and Then Correctly Plug in
  • Connect CPU to another PC(for making Sure problem is for Monitor)

I have a syncmater 2333 HD and after connecting to my pc, i seemed to have lost all sound. when connecting speakers and earphones, there is still no sound. thanks


Did you plug in the audio cable to the back of the computer? If so, this may have disabled the front audio connections (or vise-versa). Try unplugging the audio cable from the computer (that is connected to the monitor) and see if your headphones work. If so, there is the solution to that problem.

Check the audio connection on the back of the monitor and double check that it is plugged into the correct port on the back of the computer. If the monitor has amplified speakers, it would be a good idea to connect to the 'line-out' connector on your computer. This would avoid disabling your front audio panel.

Lastly, check the volume on your monitor's built in speakers. This monitor can double as an LCD television, so it most likely has a separate volume control (that defaults to 0).

try to update the monitor driver tehn check the same with the cables from cpu detached if no signal comes for long then the monitor is fine also try to check the monitor on bios screen

If the monitor has a consistent tint throughout, try to adjust the color through the OSD (On Screen Display). If this does not resolve the problem, or your monitor seems to be missing a color, disconnect the signal cable from your computer and wait for the No Signal image to appear. If all colors - red, green and blue - are present in the No Signal image, the problem is not with the monitor, but possibly with the video cable or video card. - exert from samsung faq....

Kds model 780 monitor no signal, power button does not work


My monitor does the same thing at times and sometimes shows "No Signal" and at other times the screen will maintain the images but the backgound color switches to mustard yellow. In each of these cases I have been able to solve the problem by unplugging the power cord from the electical outlet for about three seconds and plugging it back in. I have a KDS model 780 LCD.

I have lines and my compter in not right


Hi,
The step , you can do to check if the problem is with the computer tower or only the monitor is
1. Unplug the signal cable ie connected from the monitor to the computer tower.
If the lines are still there after disconnection of the signal cable there could be a problem with the monitor.
2. If the lines go away , try reseating the cable and check
