I have just changed my phone and my visorlite will not recognise the new one although both are Samsung and I still have the original SIM card. I have no instructions to use to try to reset the device. F.G.Eustace

just tried your suggestion. Still no response.

I have tried your second solution withy no success. My old phone pairs up with the visorlite perfectly every time. the new one will not. By the way I cannot disconnect as your suggestion says by using the eject button because my visorlite does not have one. I bought another handsfree device to use in another vehicle and the new phone pairs with that OK, so this shows there is nothing wrong with either the phones or the handsfree devices.

If the phone you are replacing the old one is not unlocked or activated on the network the old sim is... it will not work. to reset the phone basically just requires that you remove the battery for about ten minites

I would suggest you to connect again using the old mobile (the mobile which was working with your visorLite), when it's done and the connection is fully established, disconnect them using the Button (Eject button) on the VisorLite to terminate the connection properly. Now try to connect with it from the other mobile, and keep pressing (tapping) the Accept button while the mobile is searching for the device. Also change the direction of the alignment by moving the mobile from one end to the other.
If there's no problem with the mobile bluetooth, it'll definitely establish the connection. This is all I know about your problem and I can help. I wish you good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Hello,

I will suggest you reset your phone, to reset the phone, power off the phone and power on back the phone back, while the phone is loading, remove/pull out the battery from the phone immediately, wait for some minutes, put back the battery and power on, this should reset the phone.

Take care.

    Hello,

Are you sure the phone is not lock? If the phone is lock, you will need to unlock the phone before it can be recognize by any sim. I will suggest you unlock the phone before using it.

Cannot find sim or memory card for my lglp-ahkm my new phone will notwork,,keeps asking for sim and now my original stopped working what do i do

Did you try to delete data from your sim card? If it stopped working it must have run out of memory on the card. You can try to contact the maker of your phone for a new card also. Almost any sim card should fit your sim slot. A good cell phone shop should also have sim cards to fit your phone. Try these and if you still have problems email and I will try to help more. Viking

Phone will not recognise sim card

I had the same problem with my NEW Huawei Ascend. My solution was that I had to trade it for another new one. I wouldn't have even known about it since it was my first experience with a smart phone. But I wanted a bit more memory and that is how I realized it wasn't recognizing the card. Hope this helps.

My phone ask for a sim network unlock pin

That's normal if you change your original phone sim card with other sim card, you just need samsung galaxy 3 network unlock code and you can get this from your network provider or buy from third party sites. After you have samsung unlock code, insert it in your phone then your phone will be unlocked and you can change your sim card with any sim card as you like.

Tired of memorizing new PIN codes? We show you how to change your SIM card's various PIN and PUK codes in less than 5 seconds.

Although most people remember their primary SIM PIN code, those other codes - used for various verification purposes - are never to be found when needed. Below we've included a set of short codes which, when entered on a handset's standby screen, will let you easily change PIN and PUK (short for Pin Unlock Code) codes - but keep in mind, they may not work with all handsets and mobile operators.

More importantly, when changing ones PUK codes there'll be no help to get from the mobile operator if the new codes are forgotten, so make sure to write any changes down alongside the old PUK codes. Also, please note that the codes should be entered without the spaces shown below.

Change SIM Card PIN

** 04 * old PIN * new PIN * new PIN #

Change SIM Card PIN 2 (Write down the new code)

** 042 * old PIN * new PIN * new PIN #

Change SIM Card PUK (Write down the new code)

** 05 * old PUK * new PUK * new PUK #

Change SIM Card PUK 2 (Write down the new code)

** 052 * old PUK * new PUK * new PUK #

Iphone 3g 8gb Officially unlocked sim error problem

the new sim card is connected with having an iphone account. when you say it is officially unlocked.
does this mean that AT&T unlocked your phone?
what i think your saying is that if you have 2 sim cards, one that is in use and the other is a spare you cannot use both. at the same time.
the sims are standalone, to use a spare sim it has to be activated by the carrier, thus disabling your original sim.
when you change sims you will need to reboot the phone that will not change.

Pin phone block sgh-d840 "phone block"

Call the service provider helpline, have in hand your personal details, client number, and the sim card, explain the situation to them and they will provide you the original PIN code. If you changed the original PIN the only solution is buying a new SIM card. Let me know about any changes.
