Hey my Samsung cooltech plus is making beeping noises fridge temperature is jumping from one temperature to another while the beeping noise is going on. Can anyone please help me thank you

Fridge keeps beeping or buzzing: The following is for Frigidaire models but others can be addressed similarly.

Several Frigidaire refrigerator models have an electronic control panel on the freezer door the owner can use to adjust the internal temperature, dispense ice and water and receive notification about issues such as the need to replace a water filter. The refrigerators also emit a beep for various actions and as an occasional alarm. Determining what causes the beeps necessitates some troubleshooting.
Temperature Controls ·A Frigidaire refrigerator's display panel blinks when the control panel is touched to set temperature controls. After pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, press the arrow buttons within five seconds to increase or decrease the desired temperature. If you do not press the arrow buttons within five seconds after pressing "Freezer Temp" or "Refrigerator Temp" on the keypad, the refrigerator beeps to indicate the current setting will stay in place.

Door Open ·When you leave the refrigerator or freezer door open, the refrigerator beeps. Also, the "Door Ajar" indicator illuminates on the appliance's display panel. Shutting the door and pressing "Alarm Reset" stops the beeping and turns off the "Door Ajar" indicator light.
·The Frigidaire refrigerator has a control lock feature that prevents use of its control panel or dispensers when the unit is locked. When the control lock is active, a beep sounds when a keypad or dispenser is pressed. Release the control lock by pressing the "Control Lock" icon for three seconds. A beep will sound, and the icon's light will go out.
Power Reset ·A power reset is occasionally necessary if the Frigidaire refrigerator's control panel does not work normally or a reset function on the keypad does not work. A power reset involves disconnecting power to the refrigerator by unplugging its power cord from the electrical outlet, waiting 30 seconds and plugging the power cord back into the electrical outlet. When the control panel resets, a beep sounds. If the refrigerator beeps even after a power reset and the beeps' source is not known, contact Frigidaire.

Beeping sound...

This is all just my first take from the symptoms your describing. I would check for a problem in the automatic defrost cycle. My clues are, 1. The circulation fan always shuts off during a defrost cycle of the evaporator, (common to all commercial machines). 2. The beep may be an indicator to the users that it is in the defrost mode. Especially if the beep is constant (Not very loud, but noticeable). Opening the door always allows all the cold air to fall out of the cabinet. Except in a chest freezer as cold air is heavier than warm air. It would be a warning not to open the door if you don't need to because the evaporator is not cooling while it is defrosting. 3. It could also be a heating element turning on for the defrost, but normally with these, the compressor is stopped. (Unless its for the drain pan which are normally always on with no relay). 4. The click could also be the solenoid on a reversing valve using hot gas for the defrost and in this case the compressor would stay running (a click, fan off and compressor running). Usually with hot gas defrost, if you listen closely when it clicks, you can hear a soft "whoosh" sound from the refrigerant reversing directions. If it is a defrost problem, there are a few things that can start and stop it. There could be an air differential pressure switch across the evaporator that detects a drop in air flow due to frost buildup. It could be a thermostat close to the evaporator surface ( but not touching) that actuates when frost touches it. Or it could be a timed defrost that happens every so many hours, for so many minutes. All of these are adjustable if defrost is the problem. It could also be a bad board. Those can cause multiple problems for no apparent reason. I hope this at least helps you to find the problem. Its hard guessing without being there. Good luck. Roger

Hi, I have a Bosch undercounter freezer and it won't stop beeping!!! All the lights flash whilst beeping, the lights are under the super freeze button, mute button and the temperatures. If I hold...

The beeping is a signal that the fridge has not got down to, or holding temperature... You may have a thermostat or gas system fault. Check and see that the fridge has actually got cold.

Sounds like a control board issue. When you unplug the unit your are resetting the control board. Then after a while one of the relays on the board is getting stuck again.

Our fisher and paykel's aggitator has stopped

Hi, welcome to FixYa.
Going by the fact that you said this happened after a move, I can suggest a couple things it might be-
1. This may sound too simple, but make sure that you don't have the fill hoses reversed (hot to cold and cold to hot) as this machine has a thermistor to sense water temp and it will fault out (That's the beep/lights) if this is the case.
2. You may have the drain hose shoved too far down in the drain or standpipe and getting a siphon condition.
3. You may have damaged the machine's "Out of balance" switch in the process of moving.

Look underneath the control panel for the "tech sheet" for that washer. it will have a "code matrix" which will pretty much tell you what the beeping and lights mean. For example one of the codes is relative to the hot/cold water.

If the tech sheet is not there, let me know, I can find one and post a link to it.

Hope this info is useful to you...

Check engine light, but no obvious problems

Good chance it is temp sensor, but have the codes scanned and that will tell you for sure. Another sensor I have run across could be oxygen sensor, sometimes they will make the vehicle run bad and sometimes they dont but in either case is does affect fuel mileage. Dont think either way you need to avoid driving your car unless maybe temp sensor showed overheating problem. But dont wait too long to get code scanned.
