SOURCE: my casio fx-300ES does not have the exe or y2

Hi,

I think that you have been using an HP rpn calculator before? This calculator has the equals key instead of exe key. The input is as follows: 2 "x" 2 "=" 4, unlike the reverse polish notation.

Please reply with the problem statement and I shall provide steps to carry it out. In the mean time, please consult the online manual. It requires adobe or foxit reader installed.

SOURCE: hello there. I'm having some

try changing you calculator to Degrees it should be the original setting, this can be done usually by removing the batteries or hitting a clear all memory on calc and it should be set to degrees. The reason you are getting "0.4553" is because it is in the radian mode (usually seen as RAD) so easy fix its not your calc its just an operator error.

There is no such button. You must figure out the formula and enter it, giving the appropriate value for the annual interest and the number of years (15).

Sorry to be the carrier of bad news but the Casio FX-83 GT Plus does not
have a baseN calculation mode. You cannot do any arithmetic in binary,
octal or hexadecimal numeration.

I do not think that Casio scientific calculators have the possibility to separate thousands, millions etc. The Sharp have that feature.

Like many other Casio calculators, the fx-83GT Plus doesn't provide the modulus function. You have to do it the hard way.

To calculate 19 MOD 10 (which is 9, not 10 as you state in your question), first divide 19 by 10 and note the integer portion of the result (in this case, 1). Then subtract from 19 the product of 10 and the result of the first step. The result of the subtraction is the modulus. 19 - (1*10) = 9.

There is only one key to toggle between display formats: the S<>D key. Pressing the key repeatedly will cycle through all available display formats.
