Could you help me? I'm having an issue with the drive, it reads cds but not dvds. Do you, think i will need to clean the lense or its an program malfunctioning

- Hello Dude, thanks for the help but same problem, i guess we need to clean the lenses, coz i hear a weird noise when dvd is inserted, its kind of trying to play but it just cant...Solution #1

this is normally a driver malfunction.
Uninstall and install the new drivers again and normally that should take care of it
As it makes the dvd wobble it can not be read

- ok it can be the lens but what is more likely than it might be the bearing of the diskholder and /or motor. if that is in inballance you will hear a strange noise when it starts up to play.As it makes the dvd wobble it can not be read
