Chain keeps coming off

If the chain is tensioned properly then you may have a burr or burrs on the driver links. It makes the driver link to fat to fit in the groove of the bar.If you can fin the bad link or links grind off the burr. If they all have burrs it is easier to get a new chain.

Roper snowblower drive chain keeps coming off

sounds like you have either stretched chains or worn sprockets. Also check the outer bearing that the shafts fit into for wear. If they wear then the chain can't retain it's tension properly, get sloppy and then derail itself. Most likely your bearings is the problem.

I'm having trouble keeping the chains on my John Deere Tractor. I put them on exactly how the diagram said. They seem pretty tight but they keep falling off when I get out there during snow removal. ...

you need to make shure the chains fit the tire snug and then you need to put a rubber tension band (they usually don't come with the chains) you can get them at a walmart or auto parts store, about $2 for 2 of them and come with little s hooks that you secure to the chain, instructios are on the package, the rubber band you put on the chains on the outside of chains and it keeps tension on the chains so they won't be lose and fall off. hope this helps.

Chain keeps coming off

Open the chain guard.Once there look for a bolt that hold the chain plate. The chain plate has a large groove and the bolt.djust the chain by plull to the front until the chain is tight, but not too much, just test by hand if is move freely but tight.Reverse the procedure.

Chainsaw Chain Keeps Coming Loose I bought a brand new husky saw 235 and the chain keeps coming loose its about an inch under the bar after bucks up 3-5 logs in a row, the oiler is working but im not sure...

No problem. Is because the chain get streched. So open the side of the chain saw where there is the adjust bolt. The chain plate holder has a groove long enough to adjust the chain. But do not do it too tight. When adjusting try to test it without power, just by move the chain with hands.

The chain keeps coming off of my daughters MX500. Is there a way to tighten the chain or the chain tensioner. Is there something else that could be causing it to come off?

The chain usually comes off because it is not tight enough or the chain is not aligned correctly with the sprockets. Check the chain tensioner to see if it is keeping the chain tight and not moving even though it is tight, if it loosens, replace the tensioner. Check the chain for any broken or worn spots or links, if any are found replace the chain.

I have a remington electric chain saw and the chain keeps coming off while I try to cut with it I keep the chain tight and keep the bar nut tight but it still seems to want to come off the sprocket anyone...

Your chain should not be tight ... only snug. If it keeps throwing the chain, your bar is not on correctly and/or the clutch needs replaced. Do not use old chain with a new clutch.
