Someone has gone into diagnostics and enabled Status Print Engine Fix 1. press menu/exit key 2. enter # 1931 in that order 3. engine test(diagnostic) should be displayed 4. use arrow keys to scroll to, then select engine test(status print) 5. press enter 6. press the "2" key on numeric keypad to disable (status print) 7. machine will revert to Ready to Copy 8. power off and then back on the M20 9. Your done.

Solution : Print a Connection Page (Network Connectivity Report / Configuration Page)
NOTE: Print the Connection Page to locate the TCP/IP Address for the WorkCentre.
Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. 'Machine Setup' will be displayed on the Display Screen.
Press the [Up or [Down] arrow button until 'Reports' is selected, and then press the [Enter] button.
Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until 'Connect Page' is displayed, and then press the [Enter] button to print the report.
Press the [Stop] button to return to the Standby mode.
Try plugging the printer in to a different outlet and it if it is still not turning on at all you need to replace the power supply. Hi, you can print a configuration page on the M20i by following the steps below:
- Press the Machine Status button
- Select Reports, then press Enter
- Select Connect Page, then press Enter
The configuration page will print out. For configuration page instructions for other copiers or printers, visit the How to print config pages website.
You have to press the machine status button. Scroll to" reports"then to "billing meter." Then press enter and it will print out the total pages printed/copied. There is no meter per se on the M20. You have to print out the reading on the report.
I would first of all Go to the Xerox.com site and go to Drivers and downloads for the M20i and install the newest firmware. I believe the current version is 3.4. I believe your problem would be resolved in loading the newest machine firmware.
If the issue is only when you are copying, the scanner needs to be cleaned. If the defect is on both copies and prints, and fax if you use it for that, then your problem is either the drum or toner cartridge or the laser is dirty. I am not sure when you say you changed the print cartridge if you mean you just changed the toner cartridge or the drum cartridge.
