Question about Canon imageRUNNER 400S Copier
If you want to configure IP adrress you have to righty clic on the LAN connection and select properties and then select internet protocol ( TCP\IP). select its properties and enter manual IP address 192.168.1.2 and sub mask net 255.255.255.0 and press OK and close dialogue box.
After that open run and enter ping 192.168.1.2 press enter if you got reply the printer is ready.
all this use when printer on and connected properly.

You need to turn off the copier, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. Make sure to select the Printer I/F button and press the setup button on the touchscreen when it comes up. Voila! Network settings.
Now, I can't get it to actually work, but that's a different problem.
