Sorry no work. Did the 07 reset as you said. The paper just doen't feed in. I checked the print rollers, etc and they look OK. If I force the paper way in it does draw it through when I ALT FORM FEED Paper should automaticly feed in. Help Is my paper too thick? I've printed Christmas letters with much heavier paper last year.

Try to reset it first by holding down the alt ..and press the reset until the 07 reset message appears ..
If this do not have any effect ..verify the rollers and the print head to be in place and also the front door (lit)to be proper closed so that it do not be in the service mode...

it might be an issue caused by the thicker paper...and now it cannot grab the normal one ...probably the rollers are slightly broad apart ..take a look and see if they have any adjustment mechanism or something ..also you may use some thicker paper if nothing else will work ..

and about the last question ..this is your fault that the question got into the bar-code area...cause you posted it so ....:P

I noticed 52 error. What does that mean? Other codes appeared prior to E52. Such as EadyLeft. I don't see any adjustments on the rollers 52 Letter appears when it tries to p;rint. Just doesn't feed the paper.

If you should have said that from the first I could had say that the problem for not picking up the the paper it is from the laser motor that failed ...
here are some details about that ..
and the possibility to get what you need to fix it ..

HP IIIp prints extra blank pages

HI there make sure that the paper tray guides are fully against the paper also try sending the job through the manual feed to see if you get the same problem. If you do not then it maybe that the paper cassette separation pad is worn and will need replacing. If your model has no rubber pad at the front of the cassette then you will have a metal hold over one corner of the paper make sure that when the paper lifts that the paper sits under the silver (Dog Ear) as this acts as a separator.

Hope this helps
Thanks J
