This functionality is usually provided by the software from the manufacturer of the scanner, particular if it is an all-in-one type of unit.

Microsoft Digital Photo (installed with Office), provides this functionality, though it may have been dropped in recent versions. There was, at one time, functionality for this task built into Outlook as well. Of course, this all assumes that you have an email client installed and setup.

Try checking the download section for your scanner at the manufacturer's website. There is likely an application that is available.

No, it is not possible to do that, because scan to email only works with email software, like Outlook, Windows live mail etc.

Hi i own one of your printers and i have a problem, i cant scan some copies of my resume to my email box and send it to a company, i just cant scan these copies to my email,which after i have to send...


When you scan a doc to email, it will open either outlook express/Windows live mail or outlook and use that to send your email. If you have not configured either of these programs on your pc then it cannot send anything. the way around this is to scan the docs into your say My Documents/Documents folder and then attach them to your email as attchments.

How do you scan a document then send it to an e-mail recepient?


MSword has this feature. As do some scanning programs.



Under FILE of MS word use Scan.. then when you have scanned USE FILE send email and attach the document

Otherwise scan the document and save it Open your email client( outlook) and attach the file to the addressed email

How do I scan several pages to email


Create a directory called Scans on your C drive

Scan each of your images and save them as a.jpg or whatever to the Scans directory.

Open a new eamil go to the top bar and hit Attach

Navigate to the Scans directory then hold down the shift key and click on the files you want to send

Hit Attach and they will appear in the box on your email

Send an normal

You can add picture in the same way , just make sure that you place the cursor where you want each picture to show on the body of the email

scan and save as .jpg
use 75dpi

open your email, click attach and find your scanned .jpg file
send as usual

Can Lexmark X2600M printer scan documents to email?


If I'm understanding your question, this printer can print, fax and scan. So, you can scan an item, save in a file and send as an attachment in an Email. Hope this helps.

Go into your email, compose new message, and than look for an ( add attachment button befor you sent the email.) Locate the document you wish to send in email in the box that appears, and attach. than send.

How do I send scans directly to e-mail?


hi,

you may have to do it manually and send them via email attatchment, I could never get that function to work do to email security issues, my scans are in a "my scans" folder in my documents. Youll have to find that folder where your scans are by searching then manually . Open your email and get your email ready to go, choose attatchment and then browse for that scan in your computer, and send it that way.
