Did you mean fried the Microwave? Yes if the timing had been too much with no heating left... no conduction of food or moisture... then the Magnetron could be damaged. If you do not see any blacking in the area inside where the magnetron is fitted, the it is possible that a fuse had blown, open covers and check on the fuse line from the transformer.
But if there is blacking inside, the magnetron could be damaged, but try to clean well inside and remount the unit after wiping off all carbon. Fit back and hope it works.
