What does it say for a reason? It requires blank media that have the word "music" or "audio" printed on them. It's in the manual.
I have seen two types of errors while recording on a digital audio-formatted CD-R or CD-RW. One is a "TOC REC ERROR C14" and the other a "REC ERROR C13." The latter I have just encountered 3 times [so far] 61 minutes into a CD-RW. Each time I've tested the tracks that were unaffected, to say if they play in the record side of the machine, which they do, BUT, when I encounter the "C14" error, it appears to be fatal to the remainder of the disc. Only the tracks recorded in advance of the error message are viable; the rest are garbage.
