Lovemypet@domain.com is not the same as lovemypet.com.au.
Notice that the second one doesn't have an '@' sign, which an email address should have.

You have sent money to some the ID lovemypet@domain.com

Now, this is to try recover your money.

Go to "Resolution Center" in PayPal
https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_complaint-view&nav=0.4

Click "Dispute a Transaction"

Select "Item Dispute"

Enter the Transaction ID of the payment sent. [Click "find transaction ID if you already don't know it. I hope you will recognize the amount sent from the history."]

Click "continue"

Now, follow the instructions.
You will have to write something describing the problem.
Maybe you can write "Hey, I have not received the .......... that I bought on...... . Have you already sent the item?"

Now, you have to ask the seller his PayPal ID. From where did you buy the item? I hope it is some website.

Please tell me if there is any other problem.

Hi carla410,

Depending on whether or not the seller uses eBay checkout, the steps to complete payment are different. If your seller does not use eBay checkout, they will send you an invoice or other payment instructions to help you complete your purchase.

To pay for an item when the seller uses eBay checkout:

1. Link your PayPal and eBay accounts, if you haven't already done so.

2. After you've won an item, click the Pay Now button. You can find this button in the listing, in the Purchase History section of My eBay, and in the confirmation email that you receive from us.

3. Check your shipping address. If any information is incorrect, click the Change shipping address link to update it. (The seller may require a credit card billing address registered with PayPal, sometimes called a confirmed address.)

4. Confirm the order details, including shipping and taxes. Click the Continue button. (If you have questions about the total cost, click the Request total from seller link.)

5. Select PayPal as the payment method.

6. Enter your PayPal log in information. If you don't already have a PayPal account, you can sign up.

7. Make sure that your shipping details, payment method, and order details are correct.

8. Click the Confirm Your Payment button to complete your purchase.

To link your PayPal and eBay accounts:

1. Click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the "PayPal Account" link on the left side of the page.

4. Click the Link My PayPal Account button.

5. You'll be asked to log into PayPal to finish linking your accounts.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

I'm having trouble using my PayPal account and wonder, if I have forgotten my password? Also, I got an e mail saying that it was from PayPal and that you need to update my account before something...

Since this is sensitive information I would go to paypal.com and actually chat with a support agent, or call or send them an email regarding the information.

I have a aypal account but ebay is saying i didn`t pay for a purchase. does the money not come straight out of the account? how do i confirm the purchase through paypal?

Login to your paypal and view the purchase history. If the purchase is not listed in the history then it's most likely that the payment hasn't been taken. There must be some fault during the authentication. Pay it again from ebay. anyway, you can always claim paypal for any unwanted payments made.

hope this helps.

How to set up my paypal account and so i can transfer money from my bank account into my paypal when i need to

You don't actually have to transfer money into your Paypal account from your regular bank account in order to pay with Paypal.

Just make sure that your linked bank account is confirmed as your PRIMARY FUNDING SOURCE in your Paypal account PROFILE SETTINGS.

Then whenever you make a purchase using your Paypal account, the necessary funds will be drawn directly from your regular bank account automatically by Paypal.

If you already have some money in your Paypal account, then Paypal will automatically use that money first, then take out whatever remaining balance is necessary from your Primary Funding Source bank account or credit card.

So in short, you don't have to worry about putting money into your Payypal account in order to make a purchase. Just make sure you have enough of a balance in your bank account or credit card to cover it and the money will be transfered automatically by Paypal, as long as that account or credit card is set as your Paypal Primary Funding Source in your Paypal account profile settings.

Good luck.

I tried to create an account on paypal on around 15 march 2011...but today (20 march 2011) i am trying again to confirm it,,i dont come to know where am i wrong....... it is not working,,i have to buy...

If you have already created the Paypal account then the next thing you have to do is VERIFY it.

Just to be clear, VERIFYING your account is NOT the same as CONFIRMING it.

When you signed up for Paypal they should have sent an email message to your corresponding email account that you listed in the application.

When you open that email, there will be a link and a code to VERIFY your Paypal account. Just follow the instructions in the email message.

Once you VERIFY your account then you can log into the main Paypal website with your email address and password and check out your newly created account.

If you really want to link an actual bank account from your real everyday bank to your Paypal account, then this is where you have to go through the lengthy process of submitting your bank account numbers and bank transit numbers in order to CONFIRM the account.

You actually don't need to CONFIRM the account in order to use it if you don't want to. Many people simply skip the confirmation option and just link their Paypal account to a disposable VISA or MASTERCARD GIFT CARD that you can purchase at pretty much any convenience store.

Just login to your Paypal account (once it is VERIFIED) and go to:

MY ACCOUNT
PROFILE
ADD A CREDIT CARD

Then just fill in the information from the Mastercard Gift card and check that it is listed as your PRIMARY FUNDING SOURCE. Then you will be free to purchase things with your Paypal account as long as there is a sufficient balance left on the Gift Card.

Good luck.

Hi!i forwarded money from UBS acct.last thursday to my paypal acct...why is it until now this money is not on my paypal acct.this was happening twice already...what do i need to do about this thanks

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

On the "Transfer Funds" page, make note of the processing time. It usually takes 3 to 4 business days for electronically transferred funds to become an available part of your PayPal balance.

You can have immediate access to the funds in your bank account through PayPal if you link your bank account with your PayPal account. With your account 'linked' you can have a $0 (zero) PayPal account balance and still make purchases with PayPal. PayPal will automatically transfer the funds from your bank account (through PayPal) and pay for any purchases made with PayPal. And, your PayPal account will still remain at $0.

This information is from the PayPal website:

How do I link a bank account to my PayPal account? Question : Answer : We're introducing a new and improved Profile to some customers. Until all customers are using the new Profile, there are 2 sets of instructions on how to do this. Please follow the instructions that match what you see on the site [for your PayPal account]. You can link your bank account, enter your bank information (we'll keep this private) by following these steps:
  1. Log in to your PayPal account.
  2. Click Profile at the top of the page.
  3. Click Bank Accounts under Financial Information.
  4. Click Add Bank and enter your information.

Then just confirm your bank account to complete the process. If you bank online, you can usually do this instantly. If you don't have online access to your bank account, it'll take a few days.

I am not able to confirm my credit card in paypal, i think for security reason, just tell me from beginning that name (paypal account) is same as name on credit card or not phone number should match...

PayPal has free and excellent telephone support. They will walk you through this issue quickly and easily.
Not all credit cards are allowed to be used with PayPal. (some pre-paid cards are not accepted, but MOST are.)
The information on the credit card does NOT have to match the account information to add the credit card to your account. My girlfriend added HER credit card to MY PayPal to make a purchase.
The best way to handle this is to call PayPal FROM the phone that is listed with you account. There is a special link on the contact page for PayPal that will give a PIN code to enter, when you call in, to verify who you are.
Then they will help you with your problem for free!
If you need more detail or help, then please ask and I will provide but your best bet is to ask PayPal, they will answer all questions for free.
