Question about Panasonic PT-60DL54 60" Rear Projection Television
I have had a panasonic DLP PT-60DL54 for about 3 1/2 years and up til now its worked fine. The first time I seen a problem the tv shut off after about 5 mins and a fast clicking sound was coming from the right side. The power button was blinking red and the lamp light came on. I unplugged the tv and removed the lamp. It looked fine so I reseated it and turned the tv back on. The tv worked fine for about a day and done the same again. It doesnt seem to matter if you remove the lamp or not. It works fine after it is turned back on again. There is no consistant time between failures, it could be 5 mins or 5 hrs. Does anybody out there have any ideas?
Was talking to one of the experts on the "chat live now" tab and he suspects a power supply problem. Who knows??
