Question about Pelco DF5UY 0V21A Domepak In Ceiling Smoked Color 2.8 12MM Ai

2 Answers

Camera picture Picture appears to have a 'wavy' distortion for a few seconds, like the view of an object in the distance on a hot day; then the whole picture goes the way of the old TV 'horizontal-hold' problem...then comes back wavy, and then horizontal craziness again. The camera is getting a strong 26-27vdc; and the picture is fine at the camera, viewed through a portable monitor.

Hello there. I have the same Wavy Picture problem with one of our Esprit Pelco Camera. Would it have to do with the power supply? or with the cables? Please help me. Thanks.

The camera is long gone, replaced with another camera...but I believe the one giving me the problem was a board-camera, model IS90-CHV9. No problems with the new one (non-dome); a SONY, Digital Hyper-Had fixed camera. Appears that the original camera was just begining to 'fail'.
Thanks for the input though....

Let me preface this by my expertise with Pelco Products.....I have been working for Pelco for over 8 years now......So I need to know what the model number of the camera in you DF5 dome is because that Dome Pack number is not a valid part number....Here is how that part number brakes down...the DF5 tells me its a DF5 Dome and the UY is the section of that part number that doesn’t make sense...its not a valid number it should be either a CA ,MA or CC and the 0V21A tells me that it has a smoked bubble with the 13VD2.8-12 vari-focal Auto iris lens...... On a different note we do not make a fixed camera that will fit in a DF5 Dome that can take up to 26-27VDC (Direct Current) So if you are using 26-27 VDC you might have damaged the camera try a 24VAC transformer instead.....Good Luck and the more information you can give to me about the camera that is in the Dome the better.....let me know if this helped..

How do I change the back up battery in a Robus R1263H-01

Having searched google I found very little on this product, but I did find a picture...it looks like the device is attached to a mounted base, so you probably need to turn it counterclockwise about 1/8 of a turn to remove it. This will probably expose the battery compartment, and may also reveal more info on the device and the manufacturer...good luck!

Does this model have a battery backup?

All smoke alarms that connect to your household electricity must be replaced every 10 years by code (NFPA 72). Chances are the device is indicating low battery, but it is time to replace it and all others of the same age. Check your local hardware store or call a licensed electrician to replace them.

Why would the alarm give a 1 one second beep when power goes off for short time?

In all likelihood it does have a backup battery. Check the manufacturer's website for more info on your model.

Yes. Fake security cameras are available in the market. They will look exactly like a real security camera with optional led flash lighting and movement of camera in and around. But they will not record anything. If you are looking to provide security to your home at cheaper price, you can use these cameras.

Smoke Detecotrs have a limited lifespan of 5-7 years. So sounds like you need new one (Its not worth to buy just a sensor). Take a look on amazon Amazon: Amazon com Smoke Alarm. I hope this helped you. Have a nice day

Hi,

Can you pleas ensure that you have cleaned the unit as well. If it is not broken, that would be the probable cause. You can ask your local fire dept. to assist. They do that for free :-)

Kiddie fire alarm model I12060, beeps once every

This happened to me, my smoke detector started chipping so I changed the batteries. A few seconds later it started chirping again. The answer is in the way you put the batteries in. The smoke detector allows you to put the batteries in wrong and makes a slight connector. This slight connector tricks the detector into thinking the batteries are weak. Simply turn the batteries around so the fat connector of the battery touches the skinny connector of the device. Mine was, fat side on the right.
