You into the menu and reformat the drive. You will find this in the setting section of the player's menu. Make sure everything is backed up on your PC before you reformat.

There should be a recovery or firmware update program on the driver CD.
This will allow you to put the player back to factory settings.
Also, if the player shows in My Computer as a removable drive, then you can just right click on it and select format.
This may delete system files, so only use this method as a last resort.
