You into the menu and reformat the drive. You will find this in the setting section of the player's menu. Make sure everything is backed up on your PC before you reformat.

There should be a recovery or firmware update program on the driver CD.

This will allow you to put the player back to factory settings.

Also, if the player shows in My Computer as a removable drive, then you can just right click on it and select format.
This may delete system files, so only use this method as a last resort.

Don't have the Mp3 player plugged in while you are deleting them. and if you don't have it plugged in then just make sure you have enough space to keep adding songs.

Delete songs from my sansa e250

You can only delete songs from this player when it's connected to a computer. There are two modes of adding songs to this player. You need to remove the songs with the same method you added them. Alternatively format the whole player - but make sure you do it the way Sansa recommends, not by formatting in windows.

Doesn't play songs

You could use the Sync option on Windows Media Player 10 and try it like that, if that doesn't work try loading it directly into the MP3 by going to :computer, F:drive, music and then just add it there. or maybe the songs you are adding aren't MP3 or WMA format depending on what format the MP3 accepts.

hopes that helps

I could listen to some songs

Prob need to format the player
1. put player in msc mode (settings menu under USB)

2. go to my computer and rightclick on sansa

3. format box: choose quick format

4. format complete, allow player to stay connected to computer for 10 mins

go to sandisk.com and under downloads, download the updater to keep this from happening again, put the updater on your computer so each time you plug it in, it will look for updates

make sure you do not put questionable files on the player such as itunes or mp4, as they will "bad track"
