How to fix this problem?

A big vacuum leak will do this it can be from a open PCV valve sticking open EGR valve to a sticking a IAC (idle air control valve) sticking open. You basically have something get stuck and closing.

Hi i have 2004 x type 20.ld it runs fine untill you put your foot down then it cuts out it starts again but heater plug light flashing and then if you stop turn it of then start it again it ok till you put...

Hi
one of 3 things.

1 get all the air pipes checked make sure none have perished are sucking in to much air, check the undersides and all the seals for the air system.

Secondly the air mass sensor, this controls the amount of air to mix with fuel if faulty they go crazy either not sending enough air or to much. you can clean these with carb cleaner and they sometimes work again.

Lastly and most likely the fault is the EGR valve this is the Exaust Gas Recycler Valve, basically it forces unburnt fuel back into the engine to reburn, work like a little turbo kind off. when they go you loses loads of power almost to the point where the car is not drivable, again you can clean them up and sometimes will work.

these are the things you should get checked first.

Regards
Dan

Help!!!!!

when you turn on the computer, press F8 before the xp logo shows up. then choose "Safe Mode".
if widows loads ok, a window will come up. click no to restore to a previous date.

If windows does NOT load, you have to re-install windows. Put the CD that came with your computer and run the setup.
NOTE: if you want to keep your files, do not choose any options that format your drive.

Prewash flash

If the pre wash led is flashing it indicates a h20 error (time out filling) some common causes are fill hose twisted trapped or kinked tap not turnd on the waste hose is connected incorectly and is causing the applionce to syphone if your waste pipe gose into a down pipe ensure it is in no more than 4 inches maximum and if it is connected to the u bend undr the sink you need to make sure the pipe gose above 60cm high at some point.
