I think there is a bug in the newest formatting software for Muvo TX. I tried the firmware MuVoV200_PCFW_LF_1_12_03.exe, which is for another model (Muvo 200) and it seems to work on my Muvo TX

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Describe the difference between binary semaphores and counting semaphores.

Binary semaphore is a semaphore with the integer value ranges over 0 and 1 whereas the counting semaphore's integer value ranges over unrestricted domain. Binary semaphores are easier to implement comparing with the counting semaphore.
Binary semaphore allows only one thread to access the resource at a time. But counting semaphore allows N accesses at a time.
The 2 operations that are defined for binary semaphores are take and release.
The 2 operations that are defined for counting semaphores are wait and signal

My kingston 8GB cannot open ( Message Show- The semaphore timeout period has expired) please help me. TQ

It sounds as if you have a faulty USB drive, depending on your Operating System, MS Windows / Linux, uninstall the USB drivers under device manager which could be found in the control panel on Windows XP/Vista/7, restart the computer and reinstall the driver's if they don't install back by themselves. But before you start try using your thumb drive on another computer. If you get the same problem, try to reformat the thumb drive, but before you do, be aware that all your information will be lost, and will not be able to be recovered without the appropriate recovery tools.

Check your server timeouts. The message may have not finished downloading before your timeout stopped and so it has to restart.
Go to OE, Tools, Accounts, Properties, Advanced, Server Timeout and open it to the maximum...

100mb zip disk not reading

These are pre-formatted and servoed at the factory.
Awhile back I was researching the 'Click of death" fault and found a guy in Belgium or Germany that coded a repair program for bad disks. Googlee for it

sometimes when it formats, it hoses the servo information (which the drive uses to keep track of things) and the disk becomes useless. This is why I stopped using ZIP disks and won't even buy a drive when I see them for 9.99 ;-)

Apache Linux Problem

It means that apache want to use SysV IPC. (semaphore get function)

IPC:
Inter process communication
These software objects (semaphores, shared memory and signals) enables the processes to exchange information.
Apache processes wants to exchange information via semaphores but could not,

You current Linux kernel dont have SystemV IPC support.
You should build a new Linux kernel with a SystemV IPC support.
You will have to rebuild the kernel with that support enabled (it's under the "General Setup" submenu)

I hope you can compile a new Linux kernel, if not this can help:

Rio Carbon stuck "WRITING"

The writing message may appear for a good forty minutes after completing the firmware upgrade - make sure your player is fully charged and just let it sit for an hour on that writing status - it will stop eventually.
