It sounds to me like you don't have a video card with enough memory. Those games require a very advanced video card. Check the specifications on the games and see if you need to upgrade.

Mouse action while playing game

There might be several reasons that cause this problem;
  1. Your RAM might not be enough for this game.
  2. Resolution of your computer is not set as required for the game.
It will be better for you to go to the game computer requirements and look for the specifications needed in the computer in order for the game to play well

Hi 2208,

I have done some research and comparison and it seems that your video card IS indeed underpowered to run Call of Duty 4.
The GMA X3100 is a good card, but it restriction is in the fact that because it is an onboard video card, it shares RAM with Windows.

If it had its own dedicated RAM, it would most likely run the game quite well.

Good Luck.

Laurie

Online play/ multiplayer

Try reinstalling the game and then make sure both the game and windows are patched and fully up to date.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling your video card drivers (or upgrading them).
