Question about Printers & Copiers

CX5000 All in One. It only prints half of the page and keeps printing only half a page until article is finished. This is with emails and some others but seems to print OK from Word documents.

not much of a solution for $10. I do't believe it is the paper since it was OK to start with. Whatever...

Thank you. I have a person who helps me with things like installing etc. so I will check with her. I believe she did reinstall with the software that came with the printer. Is there a new version for the CX5000?

Hello

Check your paper printing preferences in your pc, and also in the printer menu. consult your manual in that.

I mean the paper settings, noting wrong with the paper im sure but the settings on your pc might be incorrect.

Actually Id recommend you uninstall the printer and then get the newest software for it.

select the one that is correct for you (windows version and so on)

the support doesnt stop at 2 lines of text, if possible we always work to solve the problem. But in most cases the customer in the other end doesnt say a word after the first question so it becomes kind of pointless to type a long post and not get a response later.

  • Ekse May 07, 2008

actually the newest driver seems to be 2 years old I might be wrong.

  • Ekse May 10, 2008

Would you like to try remote assistance? I could see your screen and move your mouse. to try solveing your problem?

Hi,

Check the paper settings in the printer and the program which you are printing with. Try to reset the paper settings.

Goodluck,

Why does my printer only print the top half of the page when printing emails but prints the whole page from word or excel?

If you are having a problem printing an email page, click the printer icon on the actual email page or app that offers a printer-friendly copy of the email. Most email pages are not printer-friendly in and of themselves but require input from you_ ie. clicking on the printer icon on the email page. Hope this helps_ it did for me!

When I send my job to the printer. The printer will print but only on 1/2 of the page. it looks like the printer think i want two sheets on one page

Hello,

Is the whole page you want printed on half the page is just half the data printed? If the whole page is printed on half the paper then the problem is software. If the page only prints the left side or the right side blank on the other side then the problem is most likely the fuser assembly. Can you take a picture of the page and email it to us, we will email you back with what needs to be done next.

INK DOES NOT FLOW. HOW TO CLEAN INK AREA.

Hi there,

Here is a few steps to clean the print head of your printer.

1. Make sure the CX5000 Series all-in-one is turned on but not printing, and the ink cartridges are not low or expended.

2. Right-click the printer icon on your taskbar (in the lower right corner of your screen). Select Head Cleaning.

3. Click Start or Next.
Cleaning takes several seconds. The CX5000 Series runs a head cleaning cycle and the On light flashes.
Caution:
Never turn off the CX5000 Series while head cleaning is in progress. You may damage it.

4. When the On light stops flashing, make sure paper is loaded in the CX5000 Series, then do the following:
Windows:
Click Print Nozzle Check Pattern. Then click Print.

5. If there are no gaps or lines, click Finish.
If there are still gaps or lines, or the test patterns are faint, click Clean to clean the print head again.
If you don’t see any improvement after cleaning three times, refer to Problems and Solutions. You can also turn the printer off and wait overnight. This lets any dried ink soften. Then try cleaning the print head again.

Tip:
If you do not use your CX5000 Series often, it is a good idea to print a few pages at least once a month to maintain good print quality.

Samsung clp-315 printer stops printing after half page

You'll probably have to replace the exit sensor (lots of people have this problem). Go to YouTube and watch this video: 5fJHykzkfww

You can get the part on eBay for about $10 and it's a fairly simple 15 minute fix.

Espon cx5000 printing problem

Try to reinstall your printer.

Check if you have installed the ink cartridge properly.

Clean your print head.

Make sure you are installing a original Epson ink cartridge and not just a refill ink.

Prints only on left side of page.

Hello,

In printing web pages and email please try to check also the print setting before you print the page cause word document files and web pages are not the same in there printing setting. Web pages and emails has different setting so my recommendation is that when you print email and webpages next time then please check the printer settings then modify it the same settings as you wish or as your word document's output.
Thanks
