What updates? Anyway, if you have installed software of (most) kinds, you can un-install it via the Windows add/remove programs.. Go to the Windows start button, left mouse click, control panel, then click add/remove programs.. When the list has populated, look for the 'wrong updates' and select remove. If it's not in the list, then you might have to go to the appropriate web site to down load the un-install software or the function might be on an install CD or whatever. If you need further assistance, please provide specific details of what updates and what operating system. Rgds,

It could be that you are installing the wrong driver update.
Scan your computer with RadarSync to get the correct driver and you can use the same software to install the updates.

Just go to RadarSync.com to read more about the software.

No Sound

Every time Windows update runs, or a device or program is installed/uninstalled, there's a chance one or more of your sound drivers may become outdated or corrupt, resulting in "no sound". Note: Most manufacturers provide free driver downloads on their official website(s). However, these sites are confusing for even the most experienced technician, and there's a risk that the wrong drivers may be installed onto your system. Installing a wrong or outdated driver can crash your computer. go to driverboost.com to download.hope it helps.
In just 2 minutes, DriverBoost locates the exact, most up to date sound drivers for your system and connected devices. No guess work, no hassles, and more importantly, no risks of installing the wrong driver and harming your computer. With regular scans, DriverBoost will notify you of any and all device driver updates to ensure your computer runs at peak performance!
Run DriverBoost, to automatically update your sound drivers and fully restore PC sound in 2 minutes

McAfee Internet Security 2011, not installing

Sometimes programs can be installed wrong, which can be done by not putting a disk in, not updating, ect. And with updating, some you have to go to settings and click something like "Update me" or "Update".

Error Code: 0x66A

It appears to be a Dot Net framework installation error related to the version or an update patch.

The likely solution that will work is to use add/remove programs to remove dotnet installations or updates (updates first) then reinstall dot net from Microsoft.

Usually this error is due to trying to install a wrong version or having two versions installed.
