I have 2 dish remotes #103602. One works fine the other suddenly will not allow any of the lights except TV to come on. It will not let the SAT button light up. The remote will control the TV but not the dish receiver. The other works fine on both TV's.

I have listed the steps below to address the remote to your TV! I have also included the top 5 codes that work in case they are needed.

Codes: 500, 837, 627, 090, 185

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter the code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if it is working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

Weunfortunately do not have any codes in order to get your TV remote to controlthe DISH Network receiver. If your DISH Network remote is no longer functioningproperly we do have a few different trouble shooting steps that you can try inorder to get the remote working again. You will want to first replace thebatteries in the remote just to make sure that is not the issue. If you havealready replaced the batteries and the remote is still not working you willwant to press the SAT mode button to make sure that it is still lighting upred. If the SAT mode light is still lighting up you are probably going to needreaddress the remote to the receiver but if it is no longer lighting up you mayneed a replacement remote. I will list here for you the instruction foraddressing your remote to your receiver box. In the case that the remote iseither not working after all trouble shooting or the mode lights are no longerlighting up please email me at [email protected] with your accountinfo so that I can get a replacement remote sent to you. Steps for readdressing the remote to the receiver

1. Go to System Info screen. You can do this by either pressing the system info button on the front of the receiver box or you can press the power button once then the channel up button once on the front of the DISH receiver box.
2. Once you are in the system info screen you will see either remote address or primary remote address(TV1) and secondary remote address(TV2)
   
3. Hold down the SAT button on the remote until all mode lights light up.
4. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.Change the number to something different then what is already listed in the little white square.
   
5. Press the pound (#) button
6. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful the number selected in step 4 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

Are you still having problems with your DISH Network remote? Which light on the remote lights up when you press the select button? If any button besides the SAT button, the remote is not in SAT MODE. Pressing and releasing the SAT button will put the remote in SAT MODE.

If the remote is in SAT MODE and doesn't operate the receive, then the remote may need to be readdressed to the receiver or the remote may need to be replaced. Do you have fresh batteries in the remote? If so, I have provided steps on readdressing the remote to the receiver.

Remote: All Other Remotes

1. Go to System Info screen(depending on the receiver, you can press the "System Info" button, or pull the smart card out from the receiver till the "System Info" screen appears on the TV)
2. Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
3. Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
4. Press the pound (#) button
5. Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record. Note: If successful the number selected in step 3 will appear in the System Info screen under Remote Address.

In order to program the remote to the TV turn the TV on and put the remote in SAT mode by pressing the SAT button in the upper left hand corner of the remote.Now press and hold the TV button Next to the SAT button until all buttons light up across the top of the remote and release. Now press the small red TV button and release. This should result in the top clear TV being lit constantly. Now press the arrow up key slowly until the TV turns off. Once it does press the arrow down key once and then the arrow up key. The TV should turn on. Now press the pound symbol at the botttom right of the remote. The TV button on the top should flash three times. Now you can use the remote to control the TV. If you are unable to get the TV to turn off then the TV is not compatible with the remote.
