I have a Pro 95 I picked up a couple of years ago. The local agencies are now going to the 800 system. I am having major problems programming and the local radio shack is no help, they claim that it CAN"T receive the 800 freq's and that they could sell me a model that could. if any one can help me figure this out I would appreciate it.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need to know how to program this scanner. Radio shack pro-2055

The programming instructions are too detailed and lengthy to post here, so here's a link to the manual for your scanner. It will walk you through the programming process.

For an extensive database of active frequencies and systems in your area visit
www.RadioReference.com
or
www.CityFreq.com

If this response helps, please take a moment to post a rating. "Very Helpful" would be appreciated.

How To Manually Selct A Channel?

You are not in the programmable channel mode, so you can only receive preprogrammed frequencies. Press the "hold" button, then the "func" key, then the "E" key. Now type the frequency you wish to program & press "E" again. To continue to the next channel, press "E" & repeat the programming procedure.

Programing for uniden bearcat scanner bc 144xl

danval, I looked up a pic of your scanner and it is pretty straightforward. If it is the 16 channel I was looking at, here is the step by step programming.
1- Push manual button to go to the channel you want to start programming.
2- Enter the freq number in.
3- Push the E button to enter it in the memory.
4- To review what you programmed, push the Review button.
5- Use manual button to step to next channel and start over from #2
That should get you started with the scanning hobby.
The scanner has a Priority button that when activated will stop scanning and go immediatly to the priority channel if someone keys their mic.
If you need freq's (or more of) for your area, go here and click on your state and county and it'll give you a complete listing.

Hope this helps you out, let us know,, Mechanic
