Image Reversed on LCD

The image on my Panasonic Lumix FZ50 LCD screen doesn't 'flip'. So when I have it stored, and flip the screen down it is correct (ie left to right), but when it is turned 180 degrees and viewable in the camera back (similar to most compacts) the image is reversed. Everything including the menu, pictures, etc. is the mirror image of what it should be. The picture is correctly oriented. Anyone heard of this problem?

I have a Panasonic PT-LM2U; when it is turned on, everything powers up fine but the image projected is upside down. I've looked through the menu but didn't see an option for flipping or rotating...

Every modern projector that I have seen has a setting that will allow you to flip the image for this.If you purchased it used it was probably configured as a ceiling mount in an upside down orientation or rear projection onto a translucent screen. (The projection method can be set from the "OPTION2" menu. in a Model LM1 so it should be similar. http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/PTLM1U.PDF

If yours doesn't have this option, then you'll have to use mounts that require the projector to be upside down.

I have a panasonic, Lumix,DMC-FZ50. I like to photograph indoor games, I use a tripod and they still come out blurrry or out of focus.using automatic. I tried Manual but it is very dark.I would like to get...

Unfortunately tripod will not help you with freezing movement. You need to use higher ISO setting or flash light. I know they degrade image quality (each in its own way) but I can give you a small tip how to use flash. Reflected light is softer and has more natural look on pictures. Try to use a small mirror to direct your flash light to a ceiling or wall. Also read about exposure correction in your camera in user manual (as pictures taking this way might be a bit dark).

FZ50 lumix LCD image fliped

The lcd screen has snesors inside that tell the camera which way to display. If it is not correct, you should take it to a service company, since one of it might be broken. Let me know how it turned out for ya.

I have an urgent issue of needing to display date Lumix DMC-FZ50

http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/support/Cameras-Camcorders/Digital-Cameras/Lumix-Digital-Cameras/model.DMC-FZ50K for pdf version of manual. The K or S means the color of camera you have...black or silver. My wife has that camera, there is no way to display the date/time on the pictures themselves, you will have to look at the properties of the image. All images now contain certain data that is hard for the novice to change and might be able to be used in certain courts...good luck, hope it's not too late.

Projector displays reverse image also has grayish purple color

Use the remote to go into the menu and change the screen position. There are 4 to choose from, flip left, flip right, flip upside down left, flip upside down right. It may be tricky to navigae the menu backward though.

Hi,

when you are replaying your pictures you use the front turning switch, not the manual focus ring.

Panasonic Lumix camera

There should be a button on the camera to turn on the LCD screen so you can see whats going on. Here is a link to the manual. http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCLZ1.PDF Look on page 10, button 6. After the camera is turned on, wait 20 seconds, then hit that button and see if the screen turns on. Hope that helps.
