This refers to a cold fuser. The Fuser Temperature Sensor may be falsely reporting, but since this is part of the fuser...either way, you will need to try another fuser first.

In rare cases, a Power Supply or other board can cause this too.

Let me know what model number and I can give you the Fuser PN.

Low Heat Or Open Heat

Dear
low heat error means the temp. of fusser assy. was not achieved during the specified time. some times occur during low voltage supply and reset after s/w OFF-ON.
Open heat error means there is no electrical connection to the heater heater of the fusser assy. It has tob either repaired or replaced with new one. mostly the thermostat is responsible.
Thanks.

What is low heat error mean?

The "low heat" probably means that something is wrong with the fuser. The fuser is the key piece of printer hardware that heats up to "fuse" toner to paper. You should probably have an electronics repair guy have a look at it.

PRINTER LOW HEAT ERROR

Low heat means either the fuser is not heating up or it is not sensed properly. you can find a new fuser at www.precisionroller.com but the low voltage power supply could be bad as well.

Sharp AR-M207 Error Message

H4-00 means heat roller low temperature detection. It usuallly caused by 3 things :

1. The machine hang : You simply reset the error code by pressing : # * C * then input 14 then start.
2. If the error still displayed, open the side cover, feel the fusing unit ( don't touch, it is hot ), if the
fusing unit feels cold then the problem is the heater lamp ( inside the upper heater roller,
connected with anti heat cable and big connector ), you should replace it.
3. If the fusing unit feels warm or hot then the problem is the thermistor ( connected with small cable
and connector ), replace it.

Engine Fuser Low Heat Error

ther is a prob in your fusing unit, chances are the thermistor is not working, if you can still feel some heat in this area, either the lamps are working fine but the sensing device fails to read the actual temp.

you need a tech to correct this prob
