Question about Bush 2871NTX 28" TV
We own a fairly old standard CRT BUSH 28" TV. It is normally switched on and off by remote and we rarely ever turn the TV switch off... when not in use, it is left with the LED indicator on (red light).
During the last few months, whenever it has been switched off (as in, power disconnected or TV button turned off), it used to take a while before the red LED (ready-for-remote light??) switched on. Once the LED got its power, the TV responded to the remote perfectly.
The time it took to switch on increased over the last few months and now, when I had to switch off the power on Friday, it does not switch on anymore... All the other appliances connected to the same power source work perfectly (Sky Box, DVD, etc.) I have tested these using a different TV. But the BUSH TV just does not switch on anymore.
When I listen carefully, I can hear a continuous clicking sound in the right hand mic. This may or maynot be of any significance, just thought I'd mention it.
Any clues? Can anyone suggest possible solutions? Thanks in advance.
I have a similar problem, the standby light keeps flashing and does not respond to the remote or when you turn on manually, just about 12 months old. Any Ideas

High voltage is incorrect or missing. Could also be bad relay contacts at the load side...accordianman
