Hi Don't seem to be able to get any sound when playing CD's. on my HP PAVILION LAPTOP

log on to hp.com and download the sound max driver.
or check windows update and see if they have sent it in an update

Try to download to the HP official website

If the CD/DVD disks play in another computer, then the CD/DVD hardware inside your laptop has "died".

Take your computer to any local computer-repair store, and get them to trouble-shoot, and, if necessary, sell you a new CD/DVD drive, and connect it.

if you don,t have a proper formatting cd which comes with the laptop.then don,t try to format with any cd it can cause problems.so buy a formatting cd from a reputeted store

you have not mentioned the Operating system so select the correct one from the list and install the sound drivers.

You should have got the drivers cd with your laptop when you purchased it.Just install the sound driver from that cd.i am sure sure this will work.

u need to install your lapotop driver when install driver then sound come so install your motherboard driver cd in your lapotop

I found out how to fix the no sound problem on The HP Pavilion DV1000 Look under Dv1310 thats the model number the driver your looking for is SP30262.exe
