Question about Cell Phones
You did not mention the original manufacture and model of the phone. Not everyone knows who Vodafone is!
If the phone company or the service center for your phone does not have a copy of your password, they will do the following:
With most all of these mobile phones, to unlock the phone the service center for the particular brand of phone are the only ones that can unlock it. Some vendors have a small service department that can also re-initialize some models of phones. What they do is delete the complete firmware and EPROM data in the phone. They then re-load and re-setup the phone. When you get it back, it will be wiped clean, and is if you just bought it.
In the area where I am located, they charge about $40 to $60 to re-load and re-setup a phone.
