Question about Cell Phones
There is a short in the phone or the battery has a defect. I would bring it in for a service check. If the phone is under warranty, they will either change the circuit board, or give you another phone. If it is out of warranty, it will most likely not be worth to service the phone.
Were you even out in the rain with this phone?
Did you ever splash water or any liquid on this phone?
Did you ever drop this phone?
The three questions above are the most common causes of failures in most mobile phones. When the service tech opens the phone and looks at the circuit board, he will be able to tell if the board ever became wet. There will be burns and or corrosion in the board surface.
