Hello, one of the two pico fuses that protect the convergence chips this model uses is gone--see attached photo--

NEVER change just the fuses---if one of the two fuses is blown--the convergence chips got them-----

there are several ways to proceed from here-check the two fuses indicated in the photo.

In that case the fault is massive and a lot of parts, maybe even entire boards (starting with the power one) will have to be replaced. Just by looking at it it's impossible to tell, the tv must be opened and the voltages on the source tested by someone who knows this stuff - this is not a job for an amateur.

My TV will not stop switching itself off

Hi, The first thing to do is troubleshoot your TV independent to any other service provider that has a box that probably connects to your TV via a HDMI cable or old version scart.

Simply turn off your TV and turn off the socket that the TV is plugged in for 20 mins. Also turn of any Virgin media boxes.

After 20 mins turn on the TV. Do not worry if you get a message saying no signal detected. Wait and see if the TV stays on with no messages such as auto-standby. If the TV remains on with no problems then turn on your Virgin Media Box. The box will need to initialise ( about 30 seconds ) and then the TV should recognise the HDMI signal and you will see the Virgin TV.

If your TV turns off at any point during this process you have a fault with the TV, If when you turn on the Virgin box and no signal is detected you have either a cable connection problem or a Virgin Box problem, so using your TV REMOTE turn your TV back to ARIEL input to receive the normal television broadcasts via your Ariel that give you the normal freeview television that all modern TV's can receive, if you can get the normal reception contact virgin support who will troubleshoot your problem.

Cracking speakers when tv turns on

If other electronics are too close to a TV this is a common problem. Try moving the 2 items at least 2 foot away and see if that helps.
You may not want to leave them there, but at least you will know if that's the problem!

Tv not turning on

I also have this model. A few months ago, when I turned on the tv, it told me my lamp was in need of replacement. just yesterday, my tv did the same as you....the blue light flashed and then the lamp light kept flickering. All I can say is your lamp needs to be replaced.
