Hello,  Can some explain the new protcol for websites. ww3.?.? www2>?.?,ww1.?.?

Hello,

The protocol is actually the portion of the URL before the www - in your case the http:// which indicates that the page you are trying to access can be accessed using the hypertext transfer protocol. Other protocols include FTP (file transfer protocol), or https:// which is Hypertext Transfer Protocol over Secure Socket Layers.

The www portion of the website can be controled by the site operator - in your case the operator may have used ww2 or ww3 to load balance traffic or to divide up different sections or versions of the website.
