Question about Philips 32FD9954 32 in. HD-Ready Plasma Television
.Serial #AGIBO407 107922.
My son and I have no clue how to fix or where to buy parts?Do we need to pay a professional or would my son be able to fix it?
I see that your TV was manufactured in Feb. 2004 Probably the only place u will find parts maybe a damaged TV on ebay. Or check with a repair shop and see if they have any old plasma tvs laying around. I work in a remanufacturing facility and I see these tv's everygreat once in a while. I believe it has a mitubishi panel or hatachi panel in it one of the most common problems is the power supply. If I remember correctly on the power supply you should see several resistors (at the top left of board) burnt up along with a couple for FET's burnt also (the fet's are all in a row on the left side of the powersupply. You might try and changing these out if this is the problem. But if there is a problem with the Plasma panel I highly doubt u will find a replacement to match.
