The owners manual does not say anything about video from your ipod.
Check the connector from the docking station. if it resembles a headphone jack with only three rings then it is audio only. if it resembles a keyboard connector then there is a chance tho it would need more then 4 pins.

This systems speakers and remote were donated to our Boys and Girls Club. We did not get the DVD player. Is there a way to get just a DVD player that will work with all the speakers?

You sort of have to stick with it or something like it from Panasonic.

Ask and ye shall receive. Here's the electronic part and an iPod dock on eBay...

"Comes with ipod dock and remote as pictured if you cover extra shipping charges sub can be included but no speakers comes with connectors to connect speakers to unit."

Of course it can be repaired, but not by us and maybe not economically. Take it to a tech.

Try disconnecting the speakers and a new fuse. Maybe it's just a speaker shorted. Low probability.

Ipod docks to philips sound bar, but produces no sound...

Check the iPod dock connector for dust or pocket-lint. Use compressed air to blow it out if there's debris in there.

Then check the sound bar's connector to make sure the universal dock connector is clean and doesn't have any damage to the connector.

I have a Philips home theater system model # HTS3565D/37 that has a "popping sound" off and on. The DVD will not play, this unit is less than a year old!!! Please advise!!

I had trouble with dvds skipping like the system couldn't keep up with the video. I upgraded the firmware and that seemed to fix it. Just go to the product page on the Philips website and look under software and drivers for more info. I have the same popping noises and don't know what to do about that.

PHILLIPS HTD 7001 IPOD DOCKING STATION

I also have the same problem but now I think it's the type of I-Pod you use. Do you use the I-Pod 80 Gb video or the newer 160 Gb I-Pod with the cover flow etc. ? The documention of the HTD7001 says it's only support some I-Pods. I would know sure if I would have a type of Video I Pod wich is supported by the documentation
