Somewhere in the tv's menu there will be something called autotune or channel settings. while in that part of the menu you should find something to change settings. also there are many inputs on the back of big screen tv's, you might try a different input like cable/antenna for instance. it may take a two way splitter to split the signal for both digital cable and analog cable. by next february the analog part of the cable may not work anyway.

Programming a regular antenna to my curtis mathes cm27002s tv

If that is the big, old, thick picture tube style television (and I think it is) you cannot use it to get over the air (antenna ) reception with regular antennas any longer. Broadcast (antenna) television is now digital and older television sets don't decode it any longer. The good news is you can buy a converter on ebay etc. Hook the antenna to that and then connect the converter to the television.

What do i need to get regular channels on the tv

How to get regular TV channels?
Your HDTV should have a digital TV Tuner (ATSC) which may need an indoor antenna. Change your TV's input selector to TV or Antenna or Digital (probably one of those three) and scan for channels. If you don't get any channels, then you do need an antenna. Probably another $10.

How do I switch from anaLog to digital as Samsung TV now showing week or no signal but has been working ok for some years on digital now seem to have switched to analog

Most Samsung tv's change from analog to digital (and vice versa) by entering the same channel number you're watching at the moment, again. If that doesn't help, check the manual for detailed information.

How do I get channel with my Dynex televison?

Yes all over the air channels are now digital. Make sure that your TV is on the correct source. You can get a decent converter box at Walmart for around 20 to 50 dollars

I have a Philips television, Model # 32HFL56624/F7. How do I change it from a hotel mode to regular televison. I have the remote but it will not give me the menu section to change it back?

Usually hotel models are rewired so they will only show basic or pay channels. If you can get into main settings and you can do factory reset(which I doubt) that may work. I assume you bout this cheap or free, Old saying states "Buy cheap But twice".

Jvc 56 inch television went black, then a large thumping noise, and I tried shutting off the power and could not, so I had to unplug the television; the television now will not come on.

sounds like the WP30 or WP74 series that has a convergence shutdown which will usually cause the thumping through the speakers. Unplug the convergence power board and see if the set will power up. Do not remove the rear cover the board is up front behind the speaker grille. Never remove the rear cover on a JVC rear projection as it can damage the digital circuits due to the safety interlock on various JVC models.

I tuned the tv on and after it scane the channels the tv came i have atleast 60 channels now i only have 29... channel 30 says audio only 30 thru 60 no picture, and then the channels say like 30.20

Is your televison set to cable mode or broadcast mode?
Who is your cable provider?

Comcast recently, in my market disabled the ability to receive the new digital format unless you use their converter box.

I can't program my tv to regular antenna channels

You can program to regular (analog) antenna channels. To do so you must use the original remote which has a TV/DTV switch in the top right corner of the remote. Choose the appropriate mode for the type of channel you want to see or scan for. Here is a link to the owners manual and a picture of the remote swithc. The info on the signal switching is on pg.13.

2004 jvc 56in projection tv, has sound but no picture

Hello

Change the channel to ensure the problem isn't with the current station broadcast. Check the channel at a later time to see if the broadcast problem is resolved.

The type of programming you are trying to watch determines the proper input source. Press the "Input" button on the remote control to change to the proper input source. For example, if the source is a cable or satellite service, press the "Input" button until "TV" mode is selected. A component device, such as a DVD player, will operate on a different input source, such as "Video-1."

Check the coaxial cable, which connects your television broadcast service provider to your television. You need to securely connect the coaxial cable to the "ATSC/Digital Cable In" jack on the back of the television, and the other end to the wall jack. If the cable appears damaged, replace it with a new cable.

If you are using a component device as the source of your programming, ensure the component cables are plugged into the "Video Input" and "Audio Input" jacks on the back of the television or that the S-Video cable is plugged into the "S-Video Input" jack on the back of the television. Connect the other end of the cables to the "Video Output" and "Audio Output" jacks or "S-Video Output" jack on the component device.
