is this a headunit you have just installed? if not then I am not sure, but if it is, try swapping the red and yellow wires over. One should have permanent live, the other should be switchable. (unless you want the headunit to stay on when the ignition is off, in which case put them both to a permenant live feed.) Hope this helps.
So I decided to verify all the connections after I got frustrated with it. Everything was correct except one wire that was on the new harness I got that for my car that was labeled "12V fused" (supposedly the key on power source). I tested it with my volt meter and it did not have power at any time, even with the key on. The constant power source wire was hooked up so that's why I was able to open the face and eject CD's and DVD's but not do anything else (like when your ignition is off). So I ran a new wire from my fuse panel and everything works now. Just like my Thermodynamcis professor says "nullius in verba" (take no one's word for it), just because the wire was labeled doesn't mean it's right! Hope this helps.....
Make sure the face of the radio is completely unobstructed. If anything blocks it, the disc will not eject. Another tip is to take a CD while the door is oped and insert it into the unit part way to "trick" the unit into thinking a disc is being loaded. Then unit may be confused and thinks that no disc is inside the radio. Also, disconnecting constant power for at least 15 seconds will often reset the unit.
